Use R/C paint! it won't crack and come off as easy!

Might put Orange paint (I'd use Modelflex or some other flexible brand) on one wire so it actually does look like the MU line.

The sell liquid electrical tape, and it comes in a few different colors, although it may not go on thin enough.
