Ermmm, question Christian, did the Dino's and Dragons eat your trains as well as the scenery ?Done !
Pretty typical for Athearn. They’re notorious for this!Got an E-mail back from the supplier I pre-ordered my Athearn SD90 from, which was due this month, got an update for that, now expected mid June.
Much too neat. Needs some work in progress on it.Now that I'm back in the basement I decided my work area needed some restructuring. So I added some new lighting & shelving.

Curt her photo did make it on Pet Pix one morning. I think it was NBC. They sent us a little memento of it. Our dog door made a click sound when she passed through it. The squirrels had to get to the fence in a hurry otherwise I would have to go out there and try to save the poor things.Swal- Nice looking dog.
I guess you missed my post yesterday.
For sure, eh? Watch Uncle Pete merge it's Mexican lines into its core system. Not sure what's left in Mexico, but if there is anything, CN will try and incorporate into their system. Experience tells me this will not work out well for shippers or employees, only Private Capital will benefit.Booooo!
Sherrel This is only Green Bay I have I think might be othersJAMES -- One of my favorite roads -- I have a 70's RMC with a several page article and photos of the road. The Red and Gray paint with a yellow stripe is just awesome Actually, I believe it was Maroon and Gray - I think?
Really. I'm still waiting for an 50th Anniversary Edition Amtrak P-42, will soon be the 52nd anniversary.Pretty typical for Athearn. They’re notorious for this!
I don't think you can blame Athearn for this one, because of the zero covid China enforced until recently, a lot of the factories have now had large number of workers go sick as it's spread through the country so production has either slowed significantly or stopped altogether, where as the rest of the world has pretty much recovered from it. I know several companies that are having similar issues as their goods are also made in ChinaSmudge- Yep, pretty common for Athearn! This is what happened with their Sd70m-2, it was supposed to come out months ago, but, keeping along their tradition, it was delivered about 2 weeks ago.
True, True. All this stuff was announced during the pandemic, so supply chain issues indeed!I don't think you can blame Athearn for this one, because of the zero covid China enforced until recently, a lot of the factories have now had large number of workers go sick as it's spread through the country so production has either slowed significantly or stopped altogether, where as the rest of the world has pretty much recovered from it. I should have gone with Kato....my plan was for a display model, and since I ran P-42s in Keystone service up to 110 MPH, I wanted one for the shelf. It doesn't fit in with the theme of my layout. (I'm stretching it running RDCs, as it is).Boris- Like I said before, pretty typical for Athearn. Personally I like Kato P42s, I dunno why, I just do. Also they are a lot cheaper! Only problem is that they lack many details that Athearn models have.
Nothing said that they had to continue importing from China. We all knew the despotic regime had everyone locked down, so they could have had them made in any number of low wage countries that did not live under the same draconian regulations as the CHICOM. I know you can't beat the labor costs of slave labor, but for what they charge, they could still make money making their products in Brazil, Argentina, or some other place that's not a potential enemy. I'm really tired of Covid as a catch all excuse for everything.because of the zero covid China enforced until recently,
No surprise...what amazes me is the number of people that fall for the recycled news story.Good evening. It's clear and 74.
MSN is up to its old tricks again.
One of their headlines is about a tropical storm that's about to hit Florida as a hurricane in a couple of days.
Only problem with that is, the hurricane was last October...
One reason I never buy anything listed as "pre order". Hopefully they live up to their delivery date this timePretty typical for Athearn. They’re notorious for this!
