Looking forward to seeing your version of the Faller Car System. Having moving road vehicles really adds a lot of extra interest to a layout. I tried some TomyTec N-scale busses on my previous N-scale layout:
The TommyTec is like the Magnarail were it's a continuous loop. Between the Magnarail and the Faller, I opted for the Faller system so I can have my beer trucks changing directions, entering 3 different doors, stopping, etc. The Magnarail is also very noisy.
I've ordered all the necessary pieces to build a look like Faller System such as motors and front wheel steering, etc, for the trucks and the rest is all Arduino stuff for the road system.
I've been very busy with work for the last 4 months, but now it's layout time for the rest of the year.....lol
Here's a picture to get me motivated.

That ought to get anyone motivated. I've posted it before, and I repeat here, I really like how you get your backdrops to blend in with the foreground scenes.

You got me with that one! I actually stared at the picture for a moment or two before realizing that there would not be a GEEP switching lorry's around in this day and age.
I thought I was looking at a real photo!
Nice work, LLoyd!
I can smell the diesel exhaust from that pic it is so real looking.

Thanks tdipaul, that is why I keep incense around my workbench.
Instead of showing pictures of my wiring or my ballasting or fixing track that I've done this week, I'll just show you an area of my layout. Enjoy.
If any of you are interested, check out my article in the July issue of the Model Railroader.
Lloyd: Great looking duo of locomotives. The color scheme is very well done and the yellow and blue stands out.
I like the rock out croppings and the grass growing above the rock faces.
Thanks for sharing.
Greg
Great work on the scenery.
Going back to November 1908 or something like that.
I've been working under the layout doing things that I keep postponing (wiring), so in the mean time, here's another picture of my layout. Enjoy.
I really enjoy seeing your modeling work.....excellent. Nice saw mill and logs. That CP locomotive is a favorite of mine even as a Milwaukee Road guy. I guess the color scheme is what captures me to this locomotive!!!
Regards.

Thanks Greg,
Same here, love the burgundy and grey colors, but since I'm modeling the 70's, CP was doing the transition to the red/white pacman. So I'll have both colors running on the layout.
The July issue of Model Railroader as arrived at my door. I now have a hard copy of my article about my MHO Junction layout. If you do get a copy, enjoy the read.
Congrats! Means you've hit the big time!
Almost done with this prototypical covered bridge, all done to scale.
I still need to do the ends and affix the roof.

Now, to me, that's a factory! Oh, and the bridge is excellent, also. Haven't had time to check in for a while, so trying to catch up on the latest!
Back at work on my layout working on scenery on the track leading to the brewery.
Wow! I am so impressed with your modeling. Like Willie, I love how your backgrounds blend so well in to the foreground. Amazing work with all of it.
