Now I deserve a break, so heading to England for a week and coming back with a Cross Atlantic cruise and when I get back, it's layout time.

CYA all later.
Sorry, but no graffiti on my layout, I consider that vandalism....lolThat wall screams graffiti
Oooh one you do not have to crane your neck
But see we did a similar wall just in different materials
I hope that you had a mechanical log-splitter!A total of 43 cords of wood and 10 full days of splitting.
I do graffiti, but those are murals, some may argue that is semanticsSorry, but no graffiti on my layout, I consider that vandalism....lol
There wasn't any or barely any in the early 70's
Both vertical and horizontalI hope that you had a mechanical log-splitter!
Thanks Jaz.I do graffiti, but those are murals, some may argue that is semantics
I agree 1970s would not have had much if at all, and if you want a graffiti or mural free era you have picked a good one.
My mural wall can only be seen if you lean over, as you walk up it is invisible so can be photographed without it on display, so I get the best of both worlds,
As for your layout it has a great industrial feel building up![]()
Oh rats…..Thanks Jaz.
I'm visiting UK in 2 weeks for a week. I'll be staying in Gatwick than heading to Southampton for a cruise.
Oh I hope you have a great time, red the fish and chips - now be careful to try a bit of vinegar on the side, we love it, but I admit it is an acquired taste, our family from Hungary were not impressed with vinegar, although they really like the fish chips and even the mushy peas, again NO vinegar.
We are not south, be careful with your phones, the SE (‘south East especially London) is a notorious phone snatching area!
you’ll see ours are a lot smaller than yours
Someone near Gatwick has schedule a full day of visiting layouts, train ride and of course a pub with fish and chips....lol
What a sky it is! Glad you had a great tripFirst, I had a great time in England. We stayed in a quaint little town.
We got pick up at 8:30am for a great train day. We rode 4 different steam locomotives till 4:30pm and then went to a pub for fish and chips.
Couldn't resist and bought a European steam loco.

Barely did any work on my layout since last December, but I'm back.
In the mean time, here's a picture of my layout and the only thing added was the sky. Enjoy.
