1st purchase of the year for the layout. Had to order one more HOn3, Code 55 #4 turnout from Jamestown Trains. I like his turnouts. Also, while prepping for tax day I figured I spent $242 last year on the layout. Cheap year of entertainment.

Just purchased this, an Intermountain ET44 Tier 4 CN Heritage/BC Rail from Otter Valley Railroad Models.

I was also gifted this just before Christmas a BLI PRR 2-8-0 with Paragon2 Sound and Smoke Generator.

I ordered 3 Rapido Union Pacific original delivery paint scheme boxcars today and one Intermountain 12 panel SP boxcar. They were on sale at Perrys Hobbies for $25 each. I was going to hold off on these until after attending the Plano Train show this coming Saturday but glad I pulled the trigger today as I got the last 3 Rapido cars and next to last SP boxcar.
Its only money........I'll go to work next week and make more.

You guys know that I am a sucker for this set. I finally have an extended train now! I negotiated the guy down to $200. I know it isn't the greatest set in the world but as I have said in the past, these sets don't show up often and therefor maintain a healthy price tag. Probably not going to be looking for any more of these in the future but if one comes up at a good price I might have to get it...

Every train shop I go into I try to buy two or three boxes. That being said, I only have 6 boxes (300 ft.) I don’t understand the shortage currently.
