That looks good Airslide. It definitely takes up some space but, I wouldn't say it is too big.

thanks sup - growing up in NYC i always paid attention to graffiti. I used to ride graffiti covered trains to school as a kid. When i saw graffiti begin to appear on rolling stock years later i was naturally fond of it because it reminded me of my childhood in New York. I dont condone it in any way but have for some reason taken a liking to recreating it on models over the last year or so. about 2 years ago i comissioned a guy i met while railfanning to paint a car for me, but now i think mine is better than what he did for me. This is the result of many many trials - and even more errors. most of the graffiti i have seen on rolling stock is 'scale wise' a little smaller than this.

Just picked this one up yesterday. A quick run around the layout before surgery to swap out the DCS for a Tsunami.

It looks like nothing great now (and never will be any different, ha ha) but this is freshly poured grey plaster that makes a vehicle driveway for the freight yard. But wait till it's smoothed out and the sides are planted with a few weeds. Looks as if the work crew in the background is ROTFL.

A fellow club member made two of these intricate little switch stands. (And note the foundation of the old interlocking tower that used to stand here.)

Is it animated? Of course it is! Here's the linkage that does the work:

Had some time to do something other than track work this week. I did some experimental weathering on this cattle car, that involved dipping it in thinned acrylic paint. I also temporarily rigged up some lights in a couple buildings.

Chad, nice bridge shot of your train.

HB, that's a really nice paint scheme...if I could only get past those ditch lights that look like old Dietz railroad lanterns.

John P, it does look like the boys are laying down on the job. :) Good looking switch stand and the foundation of the old tower is a nice detail.

Adam, the car looks pretty good but ya gotta do something about those shiny wheels. :D I don't know if it's your exposure or what, but your buildings look like they're on fire.

The Centerbeam was applied the Athearn Wheels I bought. The car itself is old.

Chances are I will detail the CSX ICC Boxcar to proto pictures with safety stripes, weathering, and tags....

Great stuff from everyone this week.

On going scenery work in the engine yard spur area that leads out onto the main.

Eastbound downhill grade becomes single track main as it crosses a river just before a tunnel.

I do SO much enjoy seeing all your fine work in this thread every week. Sure makes the weekend special!

I have been SLOWly getting more done on the Bridge To Nowhere, NY. Track is now laid and these photos are ones I am using to see what I still need to do there. Hope you enjoy!

My newest Loco a Connie #217 pulls a freight with my newest car on the layout, through the newest scenery I have done and under the newest bridge.......
