RAIL BENDER
I usually start this thread every year, but have fallen short a few times. If you are a veteran of your country's armed services or presently on duty, we would like to know. Please post your time of service and branch...even a little on where you have been stationed.

Didn't like the next one in the boondocks, so I was gone to civie street
I've had the privelege of meeting servicmen from quite a few other countries, liked them all, a great bunch of allies.

A salute to you and all the Aussie military!! Had the pleasure of meeting a few in Viet Nam. One crazy and tough bunch for sure! We moored next to the HMAS ALBION in Singapore during an R&R visit in 1968.

I would have gone in around 1965 but a bad auto accident left me unable to serve per the draft board.
