Well you have gone a few weeks without a Mother Nature exclusive! I hope it misses and is just a tropical storm.Good morning. It's mostly cloudy and 69.
Supposedly, Tropical Storm Sara is going to strengthen to a hurricane, and make a big turn and head for my living room next week.
Those are really nice engines. I've had them in HO and N scales, and liked them. You may need to replace the factory-installed couplers, as they work "okay", but aren't as good as genuine Kadee couplers.hello folks

If you decide on replacement couplers, I would recommend these, they work like Kadee couplers (because they are), are easier to install, and look a lot better than the standard couplers:@bnsf971 will check on the loco when iam back home yes, some other viewers also spotted that "problem" about the couplers, i also noticed that yesterday when i did try to couple the box car to the engine. have to check if they send some with the engine or if i have to order seperate.
Ah. MSN. Today (15th November) they say the Princess of Wales will be at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday (10th November). No, I'm not at all surprised about this. MSN, which is my home page, is warning me about the life-threatening hurricane approaching. I clicked on it, thinking it was about Sara, the current storm. No, it's talking about Milton, which was here and gone a month ago.
Some good news, though. The NHC has decided the current storm will likely dissipate over the Yucatan peninsula after doing to that area what Helene did to North Carolina. At least, I think it's good news. It's good news for me here, anyway.
That actually reminded me I have to get ours done, haven't done that yet.Got PT in a bit, then mowing the yard and the furnace guy coming to service our now 10 year old furnace. We have it serviced every year.
I've gotten fewer and fewer of those letters or postcards. A lot of them are going to direct email marketing (spam), though I've questioned what they do if there is no email on file...That actually reminded me I have to get ours done, haven't done that yet.
Usually we get a postcard (friendly reminder) in the mail with a "service special" from the place that installed it at the end of October.
It could of came, and inadvertently gotten mixed in with the weekly business mailer and tossed in the recycle bin.
