I haven't done much at all on my layout over the past couple years as I have dedicated the hobby time to kit building only. I've got quite a few ahead of me before I can get a feel for the direction of the layout. I did cutout 1/4" hardboard structure bases but haven't really placed them, doing a layout with the intention of having many elevation changes has to be well thought out.
So here's a Sierra West Wood Cutters shack I have completed and will follow up with the SW Foss Landing I completed for the wharf scene.
Wow !!! Lynn, that is some great modeling !!!
I have a waterfront scene I bought from an estate sale situation that I thought was really really good. But I think yours surpasses that.
I saved my cut out scene, and I finally found a way to incorporate it into my new layout I am building.
In these Covid days I’ve finally finished what I’ve been wanting to do which is change the liting in the layout room and structure building rooms , I also finally got some shelving up, as well I’m preparing a room to expand the layout into. I know it’s a mess but it’s a gain from where I was. The last photo you can see the hole in the wall where my layout was once ran into this room, this is going to happen again but with the different layout plan this time it will have to enter and exit on the right side of the wall.
