Loveably weird
Other than the giant red anvil, I like it!
Yeah it does. I really do not like this particular Town Hall model but hard to find what I want. I have a feeling it will get replaced when I find what I want.Makes much more sense and looks great! The hall would have been there way before the gazebo.
That is how I got mine too! But you know (despite what the wiki says, and as soon as one web site gets it wrong suddenly it is wrong everywhere) it was only called the "Blue Goose" by model railroaders. To the railroad it was the "Blue Bird" and to crews it was called "Mae West". Classic case of evolution of railroad terminology perversion if there ever was one. There are no real updates, but I bought the new "Blue Goose" from Broadway Limited. I bought it from their refurbished store and saved almost $400.00.
That's a beauty! I love the BLI refurbished trains, it's the only way I can afford them. There are no real updates, but I bought the new "Blue Goose" from Broadway Limited. I bought it from their refurbished store and saved almost $400.00. The thing is as new as it gets. Same warranty too. I have put about 4 hours on it and it is great.
I guess my Big Boy is jealous because now I am having decoder issues with it. Oh well.

So what have the problems been,...mechanical or electrical??Kind of an update : I have just received my Broadway Limited Big Boy back from repair for the 3rd time. Yes frustrating but BLI took care of me even though it was out of factory warranty. They have totally rebuilt this and it runs just fine now. Glad to have it back. Big shout out for BLI , that's why I buy them.
All electrical. They replaced about everything and on the third time they found some polarity problems with the wheels on the tender. I think that could have been most of the issues the whole time becuase it runs great now.So what have the problems been,...mechanical or electrical??
I have a Blueline model of that engine, yet un-run.
Yep a touch of scenery brings it to life. What a difference it makes to spend about 45 minutes to modify the model and do some details around it. Even though it is still toylike, it looks so much better with some detail around it. It had a one-car parking lot area that I cut off and made it an area for a couple of cars. Now I am working on a new sign on the and back to sport my brother's bowling alley logo.
