Man! She's lucky! I asked my buddies to go get me Mickey D's when I got stuck in the hospital and they wouldn't do it. Mickey D's is right next to the hospital. I should have snuck out in my gown and my IV cart. It was when I was only getting lemon pepper pork chop every day.
Speaking of lemon pepper, my chicken turned out pretty good. I should have pulled it a couple of minutes earlier since these were thin sliced, but overall, it was pretty good. Walmart screwed up and sent me one roll of Grand regular biscuits and one roll of flakey buiscuits. I grabbed the regular biscuits without looking at the package until they came out of the oven.

Still good, just not what I ordered.

Ah, proper motivation!

And I appreciate it! Looks good and helps me to decide what I want to make.
Portions and proportions. A lot of it goes in the freezer and makes the next meal sometime down the month. Less to have to cook.
You got that right Kusojiji. One of the girls I'm friends with walks 7 miles after work on Friday's and she looks great. I'm interested in girls who are 70 plus and still want to look good and do something about it. Swal

Well, howdy there internet peeps, and those still chasing skirts.

Up at 3 am for a pee run, and because my celobrix and gabapentin were wearing off. Amazing how much pain they hide. The sciatica ankle isn't bad. A bit stiff due to rolling it in that hole while walking. But the left hip and right knee are barking after my tumble.

#@$%@$% Hole hiding next to the walking path.

I tell you, walking is trying to kill me!

Ice pack is applied to the knee, and about to switch to the ankle.

Breakfast is at 4:30am so fresh pills then. Until then, some arthritis cream (topical NSAID) to the hip and knee, and a couple of tylenol. And a cookie so I have something in the tummy with the pills.

more later. Time to switch the ice pack.

Good morning gang!

41° under clear skies heading for a high today of 69°.
Yesterday watching the NASCAR race at one point all the critters decided they wanted my chair. The wife captured the moment as both dogs and the cat decided that my recliner was THE place to be.

Good morning all!

Mostly cloudy and 48F. Its going to be a little cooler today than the last week of gorgeous weather we had but still not bad for this time of year, Highs for today will be around 67F. Still no rain in the forecast for the foreseeable future.

Yesterday I finally got the pool closed down for the season and I didnt mow the full yard since it didnt really need it. I just did the back where the
neighbors trees hang over my fence. The two trees in the front just started to come down so it will be a few weeks til I can do those. Don't know
if the grass will wait to be mowed that long.

Not much planned for today since everything was caught up this weekend.

Have a safe day everyone!

Day wrapping up for me. Did I get any of my planned items done? Let's see... pond water change - nope. Rained too hard all day. If it reduced to a misting, I would have been fine. Didn't feel like getting soaked. Headlight install - nope. Did find the red lamp, but I had a bright white LED installed in it. Removed it and found that I don't have a 402 size amber LED. So that went on order.

So, to do something, I tried drybrushing. Added equal parts of the flat blue (that was way too shiny of all things) and flat base, which is kind of milky in color. That lightened up the paint quite a bit. Found a wide brush (or so I thought) and dipped a couple of bristle ends in, dabbed most of it off on a piece of paper and then started lightly painting some 3d print supports. Yeah, I can see how that would work to lighten up the top ridges of clothing and leave the darker stuff behind - shadows. But then I painted a larger piece with full coverage and found that the mix that I made is perfect for what I need. Since it is 50/50, I can duplicate it.

Then I removed the resistors from my battery operated lighting to get the cars to have the same level of brightness as all the other stuff I have. Did manage to not melt any of the cars as I didn't remove the light strip.

And also installed an ESU decoder into my Pannier tank to see if I could tune it in to run on DC like my ToM decoder does. Nope, it doesn't like something. Might be my MRC Tech 3 as it does provide some spikes to the DC to help with slow speed running.

Anyway, wrote to ESU and waiting their response. The loco is jerky and vibrates as it is starting to accelerate in both directions.

On the health and fitness side of things, I did push out 50 pushups in a single set. Last year I got 70. Used to do 100. Need to start doing these again and get that number back up. I'll probably be hurting tomorrow...

So, a somewhat uneventful day coming to an end. Running trains right now, watching KISS video clips and will be watching Under the Dome later.
