We were there with the British conducting a fake war. I remember sleeping on a mechanical mule when they attacked at 4am. The marshals said, I was killed in the attack. I said, good I'm out of the war. I was sleeping on the mule rather than in a tent so the scorpion's and snakes would have a harder time getting me. GeorgeI was on a winter warfare exercise in Norway, freezing the proverbial butt off doing shit that squaddies do, 24 hrs later we were being shown round our new base of operations by a USMC bod, talk about change in the weather, from wind chill of over minus 20degrees to plus 40degrees in 24hrs takes a bit of getting used to I admit.
Oh! doesn't help either when all you have to wear is your Arctic warfare kit.
So I guess you have like 50 Willie? I do have one that I used in my Pawling, NY station project 2 years ago. Many more than 20!![]()

Wasn't that a Ren & Stimpy episode?you heard the joke where the punch line is" come on ice cream"?
They probably monitor this coffee shop saw you dissing them and got their own backSpeaking of which, USPS is back to their old tricks. Twice this week, they've sent my stuff from the local hub to another city far away. Still waiting for both items to show up.
What's a tent, only had what we needed for the Op, tent wasn't a necessity, had enough shit to carry. We were there with the British conducting a fake war. We dieted by counting calories,it is a lot of faff doing it,but we get a fish and chips takeaway 1000 calories,a two egg and bacon 520 calories, that gives me 80 for a treat and he gets 480 for a treat and does not rub my nose in it lol,we2 eat full fat,fat on meat, crisps,a lot of salad and pickles, and I rarely touch chocolate just walk slowly down the isle at the supermarket, but all within our calories, drinks are out too much sugar,he does honey in his tea,I drink water.not being able to do all the usual exercise means at the moment I am hovering on the same weight but the other half thinks it better to wait until I’m able to exercise and then slowly lose weight than reduce my calories, than the Lord, and I can fit into a size 12 so i’, not desperate to lose weight.Portion control, that was key for me. I have/had a large appetite. 4 or 5 sandwiches would be common fare. Once I managed to control the amount to a single serving, numbers started dropping. The other thing, and I believe an important one, is don't punish yourself with a diet. I like scotch, but carb wise not good. I had 2 a week and managed to bring numbers down. If the entire diet is punishment, with no little rewards here or there, you just won't stick with it.
Yep, that’s the sell out part. It will be that way until Kalmbach stops paying her. Some one earlier had mentioned not see much of Kathy Millat lately. She's active on Model Railroaders MRVP and Trains.com, but pay for view series.

I responded over on that thread with pictures and a link.I sure would appreciate any input on an HO scale grain elevator. Smaller the footprint, the better.

HO scale Grain Elevator 1930s-50s
Greetings all! I would be glad of your recommendations for a grain elevator. The scene will be upper Midwest, isolated spur off the main, no 'local' close by to work. So that that a through freight (vocab?) will have to stop and change out cars when needed. I am of course, short on land...modelrailroadforums.com
Wow Dave, 2 beautiful scenes. Do you have a close up of the tree you like. I love creating trees.Good afternoon guys, It is a little colder here than Wisconsin.
I am checking in late, and I admit it I did not read all the posts.
However, I have been on a couple diets in my life and my humble advice is eat less and be more active.
Here are a couple shots from the old layout. I would like to get some more of those Central Gems conifers, I think they make the best black spruce of anyone. (they may call them fir, also looks like subalpine fir)

another view, with the mentioned trees (hidden above behind the bin)

Part of the problem is I haven't, still got at least a half dozen loco's sitting in boxes waiting for me to add DCC, which I just haven't had time to do. The F45 that Tom kindly sent the spares for, is still waiting to be repaired too.Good morning Everybody!
Not much free time, but I have been keeping up with the posts as best I can. You all are more entertaining than much of what is on TV.
I'm with Dave, aka LASM try to eat less and be more active.
I'm looking for a USB hard drive for my new DVR, any suggestions? Why does every new gadget need an app to work? What ever happened to simple plug and play? At least Lionel has plug n play accessories and buildings!
Smudge, I've been known to buy too much train stuff. Recently I have been asking myself this before I buy, will I take it out of the box anytime soon? If you are enjoying what you buy, don't worry.
Sherrel I hope you are doing good. The same for Anyone not feeling well.
God Bless Us Everyone.
