By golly you guys are bringing back some memories. All those westerns were must see. That and Sunday morning wrestling on WGN -Chicago.

I have Covid! Yes getting dizzy can be an effect and the doctor decided that was it. Of course a test confirmed it.

Did a bunch of things at the exam that would have made me dizzy without going in dizzy. Thought at first it might be Parkinson’s because my sister has it. But I feel really good right now and wide awake
Not nice having covid, but at least you now know what's wrong, hope your feeling better soon.

And I'm proud to say that any journalistic organization I worked for never agreed to pay 787.5 million to a company for repeated and ongoing defamation... the day before the trial started and Tuckems, Hanny, the drunk judge, and whats her name had to start testifying on the stand about what they knew vs what they said...

Putting on my journalism professor/professional hat: this NEEDED to go to trial. One of the toughest parts to getting a judgment against a media outlet is proving intent to harm. The 1st amendment in the US gives really strong protections to media. Up to now, Fox has been able to skate around defamation suits by claiming that they're "entertainment" and not news.

Let that sink in...

this time, Dominion got hold of texts, and emails, and had several insiders flip because they were being told to "not remember" under sworn testimony...

Fortunately, as disappointed as I am about the last-minute settlement by Dominion, it's a huge blow.

And Smartmatic has an outstanding suit for double the amount. You can also expect class action suits from groups like Capital and DC Metro Police who were injured by the lies pushed by Fox hosts.

The most damaging pieces came from Fox execs and hosts who were concerned about having the viewership shift to the even more nutty OANN and Newsmax.

$787.5 million.

If you haven't, you should head to The Guardian (a British news outlet) and read what discovery phase of the case produced....

This isn't the end of the pain in Foxland

Good morning. It's cloudy and 56.

I took today off from work so my cell phone company could have my new phone delivered.
They shipped via Fedex.
While I'm sitting at home, Fedex has sent my new phone to Greensboro, NC, instead of Wesley Chapel, FL.
So, I'm losing a day's pay to sit around and do nothing because of Fedex's incompetence.
And yes, I tried to get the phone sent to my local cell provider store instead of here, but they will only ship to my home residence address, and I have to show photo ID to Fedex when they deliver it.

Wow, Fedex founded in 1971 and after all these years - they STILL can't get anything right !!!!!!!! Oh and if they are anything like what they are like around here (unreliable incompetent, don't be surprised if they just leave the phone on your door step without a signature or anything else. I get a lot from B&H Photo in NYC and they only ship fedex. Their requirement is for every delivery to be signed for, especially expensive items like TV's, Camera's etc. So far, fedex hasn't gotten a sig or anything from me! They are simply just another CRAP company!!

The last exercise in frustration was when Fedex "delivered" a package to a random front door, snapped a photo, and called it good. The pic of the "delivered" package on somebody's front porch has nothing in common with my actual front door...

Good morning from Wisconsin. Thunderstorms are ending in 15 minutes per the weather alert that woke me 2.5 hours ago. We had no rain, I was up most of the night and heard no rain or t-storms. But, it just started raining a few minutes ago, just as the sliding glass door guys took out the hail damaged one to replace with a new. They did put up one of those canopy tent things by the door opening. Rain continues intermittently till 2:15 per the app.

I spent a little time after dinner at the weathering bench repairing a broken coupler pocket and twisted 3 tree canopies while trying to watch hockey last night. Very unimpressive games I kept switching back and forth last night. Finally turned off the TV and started reading a book online.

enjoy the day

I was looking forward to the trial. The witness testimony would have been entertaining!

As many of you know I'm a part-time Amazon contractor.

I'm a union supporter so I specify UPS whenever possible.

For service to my home FedEx is by far the best! I've never had an issue with a delivery, and they always follow my instructions. FedEx has delivered more than a half dozen cell phones to my house and never once required a signature.

As Ryder used to say "people make the difference" I'm lucky to have good people at my FedEx distribution center, Sparrows Point, MD.
