I think one of my USMC friends had a good take on all pollical type comments. If someone said, my religion is better than your religion. He would say good, I got to go. That's me. If someone said to me I love the Dodgers and hate the Yankees. My reply is good I got to go.

If anyone wants to see the Litter Robot in (in)action... I made a video for the tech support person...

Her last email was "did you put litter in the drum?" when I tested it. Followed by "you can send the base in for service" which runs $180 bucks... I understand the need to pay their service crew... but that's a tad pricy when there are only two other potential problems... the drum sensor and the control board. I'll take either of those first.

Good Morning Again!

Could not resist passing this one on to y'all:

A nice, calm and respectable lady went into the pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist; looked straight into his eyes, and said,

"I'd like to buy some cyanide."

The pharmacist asked, "Why in the world do you need cyanide?"

The lady replied, "I need it to poison my husband."

The pharmacist's eyes got big and he explained, I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband, that's against the law!

I'll lose my license! They'll throw both of us in jail! All kinds of bad things will happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!"

The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and said, "You didn't tell me you had a prescription."

Good morning, all. A nice morning here in Houston, but rain forecasted for this evening.
On the News front, I got to run trains and have a switching session, which took about 2 hours.

Good afternoon train freaks!

Weather here is yet again crazy. It snowed last night no accumulation though! Crazy.

I got out on the water on Saturday! Beautiful day! I did not fish just a maiden voyage with my nephew. I let him be the captain for the day under my directions. He did pretty good.

Glad income taxes are done....it hurt but oh such is life.

I ended up getting another ES44AC Diesel Engine w/Proto-Sound 3.0 for my layout....interesting enough it is my very first MTH locomotive. It was new old stock still sealed in the box. A little pricey but it is the only MTH I will ever own. A bit of a novelty as it is not a particular RR. Some of you may remember the ES44AC demonstrator that had chasing LED lights? Well I got another version with the chasing LED lights. I won't mention the name but I will say it is in a red, white & blue theme. 😉 🇺🇸 I will post a video this weekend on my YouTube channel for ya'll to see. I got it for the uniqueness and well I have been looking at either this locomotive or the demonstrator. (I may get the demonstrator...maybe depending how this one operates and behaves) I was attracted to the flashing lights like a bug to a bug zapper lol🤣😂

Also I posted up a 10 minute video of my layout build as well on YouTube. I will add a link in my signature for ya'll to visit my train posts only channel.

Hope everyone has a good day and rest of the week! Happy 'hump' day! Half way to the weekend!

EDIT: I updated my signature, avatar and banner and added a link.

Afternoon All,

Started out doing chores after being paroled again from the book fair. I will definitely be at the book fair tomorrow and Friday. Today in the train room I brushed on Matte Medium on the large trunks and branches. After sorting through the finer branch material, I found 8 or 9 that can be trees themselves, so I'll have probably 18 trees when complete. I trimmed up the finer trees and put MM on their trunks and branches.

Fedex here is lousy. When the package gets to Orlando it's turned over to USPS which usually tacks on a couple more days for delivery.

Hughie- Wow- I only knew Trigger and Silver. Nice layout scene.

TomO- Good luck with the Covid. I hope you get well soon.

Willie- Great signage.

James- Congrats on your new purchase.

I hope everyone has a good night.

By golly you guys are bringing back some memories. All those westerns were must see. That and Sunday morning wrestling on WGN -Chicago.

I have Covid! Yes getting dizzy can be an effect and the doctor decided that was it. Of course a test confirmed it.

Did a bunch of things at the exam that would have made me dizzy without going in dizzy. Thought at first it might be Parkinson’s because my sister has it. But I feel really good right now and wide awake
GET WELL SOON !

Afternoon all,

Got the closet done, master bath has the first coat. Took a bit longer on the master bath, but I knew the walls were needing work. They look a ton better. Finally got the rough scratches out of the walls. Now if I could get the ammonia smell out of my sinuses.

Weather supposed to turn possibly Stormy overnight, but not really expecting any. Possibility of frost Saturday night. Kind of late, so no tomatoes going out until Sunday. Don't know what type I want to plant.

TomO: Get better soon!

Covid bad Parkinson’s totally sucks so yeah Covid is likely better but look after yourself I love looking forward to your work.

I was specifically referring to Troy's rant about Fox news. It has no place here. Or perhaps it's just me. I'm a card carrying conservative, and I still hate Fox News. Even though I hate Fox News, I don't want to hear about it here.
We all usually have our rant now and again and trust our mod to slap us as required, the point is this is the coffee shop we all air our opinions and when we don’t like something, we scroll past and let those having their say have their say and ignore or respond in mind. personally if Troy want to trash Fox have at TRoy and if you want to trash something else have at that, but let’s not moan about each other because the nicest thing about the coffee shop is that we show tolerance for each others foibles. Tolerance is our best asset, no offence not harping at you, just stating my own opinion, and people can feel free to ignore me also.

As many of you know I'm a part-time Amazon contractor.

I'm a union supporter so I specify UPS whenever possible.

For service to my home FedEx is by far the best! I've never had an issue with a delivery, and they always follow my instructions. FedEx has delivered more than a half dozen cell phones to my house and never once required a signature.

As Ryder used to say "people make the difference" I'm lucky to have good people at my FedEx distribution center, Sparrows Point, MD.
Not for nothing, I have never had a problem with FEDEX or UPS. When something is delayed, it's usually the fault of the Vendor.
USPS, well that's another topic for another time. DHL? I rarely get anything from DHL, so I cannot comment on their service.

Notice I did not mention USPS. If you can't say anything nice... and the cause of the problem is political. I will only say, there was a time not long ago when the USPS was reliable.

All shipping companies use what we call "last mile delivery". They deliver to your local post office and the mail person brings it to you. It is often the cheaper option.
