Jeff that does look like snow, want to lease a plow?
motley cool background, the coal cars look like they belong there.
I had a couple cars that looked too clean so I grubbed them up a little.
Still have to do the wheels and add some details yet.
Thank you Jeffery! Always look forward to seeing your work also! I really like your park with the Steam engine. I wanna do something like that on mine.

If you put a kids baseball diamond in it just remember that the distance between bases is 2/3rds what it is in the majors and the distance to the back fence at left, center and right field is 225 feet. Not everyone has this kind of space so many fudge it.
I finished ATSF 220 this past week. I bought it from a member here in what I was lead to believe was New In Box. In reality it didn't have a box, the front pilot was broken and the fans were sort of smashed. It had mismatched handrails and all the truck detail was missing. I replaced the walkway and repainted it from BNSF to ATSF because for me time stopped before things turned orange. I applied truck detail parts from another SD70M kit. The lights are now surface mount LEDs but when I tested them they weren't that bright. After they were installed they sort of make the nose glow, like Rudolph, can you handle 220? I glued the shell together so it is hard to get to now so it will probably just operate in bright sunlight where a glowing nose is less noticable.
Here it is waiting in the siding and lighted by a train passing on the main, hence the light streaks.
Been awhile since I've posted with all the end of summer stuff going on. Between ridin the bike, go carts ,canning, parties, and band show, I haven't had time to do allot to the layout. I did do some shopping and stocking up for the cold Penna. winters so I'll have enough supplies and kits to keep me content.
Allot of what I did isn't that noticeable from earlier picture. I glued the foam down and leveled it. I have found and completed the Atlas curved arch with pony end bridges which I doubled and are ready to set in place. This will complete the mainlines so I can test run them.
I did change the backwalls alittle. I found Realistic Backgrounds and a LHS and I like what its added to the overall look. I decided to raise them to the top of my skyline and I filled in the city with a concrete wall and the treeline area will be a bank/rocks/trees to fill the lower gap. Have a good last of the summer holiday!
Here is something that I have been working on a long time. It still isn't finished but I couldn't wait to show it off. I'm sure you could guess which one it is. Just to let the cat out of the bag, it was an Athearn BB Union Pacific that I stripped and custom painted and then super detailed. Once I'm done with it I'll post some good photos of it. I tried to copy the actual #4433 dash-9.
thats our set up yard at the club. I was adding scenery to this part of the layout last year and just poked a little fun. See we run DC and DCC down there. The DC guys dont want to change to DCC and the DCC guys cant stand setting up blocks every 20' or getting shorted out when the DC guy runs his block.... if you look closely you will see a guy running for his car thats "on the hook"
