Yes that is me. 1967, American flyer. The bridge has wooden rails covered with aluminum foil and it worked.

Good work on that dirt road. It looks like the seldom used dirt tracks here.Starting constructing the dirt access road for the work and inspection crews, and maybe the occasional law breaking railfan today. Overlook the mess on the layout.

My GP7's finally arrived and have had their test run and have been set up to run tail to tail. Later when I remove the shells for weathering I'll physically disable the rear LED in each unit and run wires from the pickup leads to connect both units electrically.

They're very quiet for Bachmann's. There's only a slight whir from the gears. Other than that the only sound I hear is the wheels hitting the track joints.
That comes from an 18" light in the kitchen.
