The paperwork finally went through on the power transfer from the Tankist system. The SD45 got a quick equipment upgrade and patch job before heading out but the Dash 8 in the background is down for a much more thorough refitting, re-powering and repainting. Thanks again Tank for the engines.

I'm still working on the rail yard. Right now the intermodal yard is about 80% done.

I know, I looked a little bit for a good reference photo of a SD45 with a CSX patch. Looks like the few that CSX had were patched Seaboard System engines (I have one of those as well P2K) or stealth. My layout won't be 100% prototypical so I just went with a solid block of numbers off the Micro Scale sheet.

Michael, Have you thought about dropping your backdrop about 2" or so?? Those rail ties look a bit big in the background.

I have started making "Heritage Park". The models are N-scale, but they will be featured on an O-scale layout as miniatures. The cobble around the shield will be filled in and painted, the whole park will be surrounded with a brick bench border and shrubs.

Heres KCS SD40X 700 which determined weither KCS bought any SD50s. which lead to 710 being built and 2 KCS buying those ex-CR SD50s from NREX

Nice work all around guys!

I picked up a Canon 10 - 22mm wide angle lens yesterday, and decided to see how it does with the layout....

2-6-6-2 #326 at the head end of a coal drag going through Hopewell Junction.

Couple shots of the Erie B3 Steamshovel with the coal drag behind it. This is not where she will normally be on the layout, just waiting to have the Limestone Quarry ready for her.

And finally a shot of the old wagon being loaded at the Freight House.
