I think it does. There was a TV series at one time called The Rat Patrol. Can't recall many subway trains in it though. :D

U.S. Navy, 1967-1972
NAS Jacksonville, FL
HC-3 at NAS Ream Field in San Diego
Then 25 years civil service at NAVELEX in San Diego
I mention the civil service because I had a Navy Captain for a boss, and uniformed personnel for co-workers and my paycheck said "U.S. Navy" on it, so I count it. :D

Would work for me. I loved San Diego in the 70s, tried hard to find work and stay out there, but fact that I had two civil service jobs (Post Office and NYC Transit) waiting back east was a determining factor. Tried again in late 70s, tried hiring on to Santa Fe, UP, SP, BN with no luck, but that's another story.

No regrets but, I feel sorry for todays youth comming into todays work environment hard pressed to find one job, much less having the choice of two.

Joe:)
