I likely will for sure, but that’s a way off at my pace…not my priority for this year. 1. Finish track laying, 2. Finish building and painting the station and my ship….3. Progress adding DCC to my old steam engines…..art work after that.Do you plan on lighting it?
It’s a shame because if the animal is going to be killed, which often happens anyway, then sone good should cone o f it, I know many will say if no profit no coat then animal not killed, but actually they need to be kept down,in the UK there is a lot of issue over seasons for deer, and the numbers now are causing thousands of deaths per year on road, damage to crops, and because the animals are not monitored properly there is a lot of misery, too many males fighting causing damage, one specific place was set up as a reserve,no culling allowed, leave them in peace, well they thrived, then over thrived then starved, and there was a lot of other issues, they were being reported for ages before finally someone was brave enough to say enough is enough. over population of native species can be a problem, but over poplulation of invasive foreigners is a major issue, I see muntjac dead on the side of the road,so you can pretty much say there was a collision, and they breed at 5 months and every 5 months, one male expects a harem he visirs when they bark they are on heat, but the males get into it with horns and tusks, one went for one of my dobermans that was too close for its comfort and leafy a hole in her side,no blood no tear and it healed, but could have been a lot worse, they are not a big animal not heavy like a boar, but you don’t want one deciding to attack you!JAZ avalley: I didn't answer you promptly- sorry.
YES, the Spousal Units coat in the Paris photo is Fox.
Not long after I purchased it for her - was the big flap over all types of using fur animals pelts.
Or the UK ?Interesting and nice models except the vendor "doesn't post to United States". Hmmmh! Maybe send them to Gary in Halifax?
Should have added this oneThings are progressing, normally I freehand, but in order to speed up and save effort I cheated, I pulled up the picture used tracing paper, captured the main dimensions, rather than measuring them individually, there is still some technique to capturing off a finger sensative screen lol, and if anyone is interested in doing a mural I can easily do a walk thru making the process incredibly easy, although you will need painting skills, as many of us weather, that’s covered, and I can talk through tips for this also….anyway Yondu joins the pack, so 4 down….if you noticed young Groot
Curt: Thank you. I'm inclined to agree with you, that Covid boosters are going to be part of our care each year. Same with the flu shot. I just hope they get the flu shot right next season.Joe- Nice photo. I fully expect that the standard of care going forward will be a Covid booster and flu shot every year.
I visited my ailing sis yest & this morning. 20 mins after getting home (3 hr drive), got tthe call that she was gone. Her 3 boys & 3 of 4 sibslings saw her today. One sib was on plane from Vancouver to Calgary, but not in timeWe attended my sister's viewing last night. I'm glad there was no casket. The beautiful Urn my nephew picked out was easier to look at. My niece had photos scattered everywhere. I loved seeing photos of my mom, my sisters and other members of the family and friends.
I was happy to find my sister's children in as good as can be expected spirits.
I'm pleased they decided to bury my sister in our family plot. Lots of family history there. My Great Grandfather bought the plot in 1924. My wife and I will end up there some day.
My sister's funeral is today. This is the final chapter of my sister's life, but not the end of her story. Her legacy lives on through me, her children, grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and all those who knew her.
My sister was nothing short of brilliant. She was a confident, beautiful, and funny lady. She was always the life of a party.
The end of every life is death. It cannot be bought off or avoided, but life must and will go on.
As my sister would I face the world with a positive outlook. I won't dwell on my losses. I will be thankful for the blessing of being born into such a wonderful family in the greatest country in the world.
God Bless Us Everyone!
DAVID -- If you click on the name "Garry Boyd" there -- It is a link to his OBIT.
The hyperlink in my post goes to his obituary. Click on it. He lived outside of Cadiz, Kentucky, a little northwest of Nashville TN, off IH-24. We were planning a potential visit the next time I went that way to my Sister-in-Law's home in eastern Tennessee, but Covid got in our way and it never happened. I would have taken IH-40 and would have passed pretty close by. He was about 90 miles from Nashville.
Interesting..... "From The Founding House Of Japanese Whisky, EST 1923" after WWI but before WWII and well Japan was pretty much leveled.....Not to change the subject, but look what jumped into my cart today at Costco.

Chad, reading your post I was reminded of "A Charlie Brown Christmas".Yes, you may now (tomorrow) take down your trees (those that have them). Yesterday was the 12th day of Christmas and today Epiphany.
If more people stopped putting up Christmas stuff in october or early november and waited until December to put it up, play songs on radio, etc. and them actually kept them up through the end of the Christmas season (today) I think we would all be better off.
Less build up and more actual Christmas season celebration. In many old school traditions (in Europe for example), you didn't even put your tree up until the 24th and Christmas celebrations started then not ended on the 26th or 27th for those places with boxing/2nd Day of Christmas.
Do you have a house number on your gate in the back?Delivered!
