Has anyone in the forum ever been asked by youtube to sign for permission to run ads on their video? The other day youtube asked me to sign up for Google Adsense to run ads next to my video Helix Action 27,000 views. They didn’t say how much I would get but said that if approved they would start paying me at the end of each month. Does anyone have any idea of what amount their talking about?

i've never been asked. is this something new? I mean if they pay thats great. But I find the new version of youtube to be very annoying and i hate the dam ads. Especially the ones at the beginning of the video.
I have google adsense for my railroad photo blog. They pay you like a penny for every 100-200 views (impressions) and maybe 5-10 cents a click. You need to earn $100 to cash out. And yes, if you are in the USA, you will need to pay taxes on it.
It doesn't require any effort on your part so it's easy money.
Thanks for the help guys. I guess I signed up just out of curiosity. Five to ten cents for clicking on the ad is good but how often does that happen. The penny thing 27,000 divided by 100 is 270 penny’s that = $27.00 not much at all.

I had Adsense on my website before I changed it over to a model railroad blog. I actually cashed out $100 .. took about two years but ... hey .. is free money!
