I have a bunch of Norfolk & Western rolling stock so I guess I model that road name, I'm in the middle of making money buying and selling houses so my layout is temporary.

I must do more research into N&W and find a section of RR to model when the right place comes along I'll be ready to build.

Ken.

I was wondering if anyone actually modeled the BN/BNSF - you see a lot of locomotives and rolling stock in their paint jobs, but it's pretty rare to see an actual layout that is centered on it. I suppose there will be more now as the ATSF modelers decide whether to switch or not.

Most BN/BNSF stuff I see on layouts is either interchange or "pool power."

Jeff,

Does a fictitious BN sub-division count? BN locomotives will be the only motive power on the late '80's - early '90's Shelby sub-division that I am currently planning.

Sure does, all the poll is asking for is "what roadname" :D Go for it, That's about all most of us have anyway.

Okay, At the club, I model the Buffalo and Pittsburgh

My home layout will be the interchange between the California Western and Northwestern Pacific.

I see that it took 'til page four for Southern RY to make the cut, but
here's another vote for them.

I model the Southern with a little C&O and N&W thrown in. On some days
though, you might see some power from AT&SF and NYC roll through!
In fact, NYC actually runs a regular passenger train along these rails...
gotta love those Hudsons! Good luck, Dave
