Quonset Huts

I haven't seen too many of these around in the modeling world, but they are everywhere in real life. I bought these 2 already assembled and painted. They make nice fillers somewhere.

Imex, Rix, and GC Laser make them, and I beleive Walthers has one also. That's in HO BTW

The first one looks like the building that came with a gas/propane supply kit made years ago (maker slips me now...like Model Power or something)

The weathering looks great on the ones you picked up...I really like the rotted deck boards.

I also bought a kit from Rix. Easy build, and you're right, you can put these huts anywhere. Someone also recommended the coffee can method. Tried it with a soup can...
