A Queensland Railways, wooden, narrow gauge 'guards van' (as close as I'm gonna get to a caboose!) Verandah, 1st class compartment, even has a space for dogs at the end, there were variations with a space above that for coffins..:D
The reason they are not HO is because they are really trying to model narrow gauge on the cheap by 'cheating'. Instead of doing a proper 12mm mech, they chose a over scale body to compensate, whilst running on 16.5mm track.

I ran it in a foam cradle for at least an hour each way yesterday.
However on my test track today it has the same issue as it has before with next to zero improvement. It runs much...
I recently purchased a Bachmann Spectrum Decapod (full Soundtraxx DCC and Sound).
However on my test track is runs jerky at low speeds and poor low speed running, although runs fine from about step 12/28 upwards. I'm relatively new to DCC and have tried to follow changing the relevant CV's...
On the one hand, your work on models is very good and pretty cool, and I myself have started modelling graffiti in the 1:87 world, using basic stenciling etc with rattle cans because there is just so much of it on the local network and it leads to some very individualist wagons out of an...
Within a few years I would say, as the prices continue to drop and support + options continue to arise. Probably the only stuff that won't comes DCC fitted as standard will be the kids/floor toy variety and specialist/minor prototypes, which will be more than likely DCC ready anyway.
Also, from...
Yeah had the same issue.
I sent a polite email off to them and they said that it been actually shipped, and that the "processing" status system was't correct.
So yeah, nothing to worry about, they are usually very good.
Heres nothing but a flight of fancy made up of odds and sods I have had lying about in various boxes because I was bored tonight. I suppose I had in mind a fictionalized ALCO export model that (hopefully) wouldn't look to out of place in some further flung parts of the world that isn't America...
