Good morning, all. A pretty nice day on tap. It is warming up again, however the humidity is down. I have a few monthly chores to do day. chlorine in septic system, test run the generator and I think the well is water logged. Not a lot happening on the layout.

It sure seems like there is a wordy bunch in the diner this morning. So let me add.

Three model railroaders go to a train show. It was a large show and they stayed late. Rather than drive home they decided to go to a hotel. The desk clerk told them there was only one room left at $30. Each of the modelers came up with $10. A few hours later the clerk realized he had over charged the men and called the bellboy. "I over charged those model railroader, please bring this $5 up to them". The bellboy, on the way up, thought that the three modelers couldn't split the $5,, so he pocketed $2, giving each modeler $1. So now each modeler had paid $9 dollars for the room.
So, if 3 x $9 =$27, plus the $2 dollars in the bellboy's pocket = $29, where is the thirtieth dollar?

The two teams that spent the most, the Dodgers 261 million and the Mets 259 million. They are both watching the games on TV, just like me!

Louis: I'm for the Phillies... The Mets choked...hopefully there will be a house cleaning...deGrom didn't make it past the 5th inning after missing two thirds of the season.

I think the rail width does have something to do with two horses walking side by side.

Dave: My understanding was that it had to do with the spacing of wagon wheels, one of many explanations for the gauge.

Well the tech was here, and he didn't see anything wrong with the AprilAire or the furnace. We shall see how this works.
Meanwhile, had a visit with the spine Doc. going for a MRI on 11/3. Meanwhile, he prescribed Gabapentin 3x/day. It's working on the Nephropathy
Pain, but the deteriorated disks in the spine need to be addressed. Time for more research, so I have an idea what the alternatives are.

Good afternoon. The son texted he was in Houston last night and decided to attend the baseball game. Cheapest ticket on Stub hub was $210 as far away as you can get there. Decided to see if anyone was selling at the park.

$100 for 2 tickets 30 rows up from the 3rd baseline dugout. He asked if anyone had tickets after the 1st inning was complete. Said they enjoyed it

Finished up and have Approval on a weathered Centerbeam.

Afternoon All,

Today in the train room I tested the grade crossing signals in both directions and everything worked like it should so I cleaned up all the hanging wires and put the fascia back on. After that I cut out and mounted a small piece of plexiglass to protect the closest crossbuck to the edge of the layout. Tomorrow I have been "volunteered" to help out at some info booth in Tampa (90 min. away) for the FL skunk rescue so I won't be in tomorrow.

Tom- I hope you feel better soon.

George- The bridge is coming along very nicely.

Louis- My daughter loves UTZ shrimp flavored chips, but they're hard to find locally.

Smudge- It all sounded good. Good luck in France.

Snowman- Great family story.

Guy- Nice job on the lift gate.

Dave- Good luck with the pour today.

Willie- Nice layout shots and great family photos.

My grade crossing is still partially installed. Too much other stuff goin on.

But yet it leaks some where what model is it ? Will consult with son he's the expert I just dable when he can get me to actually work
And good luck with the Doc I know about back stuff last time was my neck and leg with the motorcycle accident

Curt: That's great. As Ken, (VA), suggested, some pictures or a short video would be nice, at your convenience. Tampa is a bit of a drive from where you are, isn't it?

My son just texted me bringing me a brand new gas water heater 40 gal with a warranty for $80 so I have a backup one
I asked him about your humidifier and he said if nothing obvious all fittings tight IS the pad in upside down He's had people complain about small leaks and allways the pad in upside down

It’s to shiny, needs weathering. Drop it off down here in Wisconsin and I’ll weather it. Natures way!
