those are stands that a designed with a friend, and we will sale them at the convention.

When I bought my house in 2011, the yen rate was 89. I had to buy a refer, 5 a/c, and a dryer. That sucked.

I remember that rate. The lowest I’ve seen when we were there was 69 iirc.

Most of the time it was 105-115 or so then that drop then it came back to about that same range. Then towards the end of the 201x it started inching up to where we’re at now
 


A few more pictures from the "Museum for a Day" event yesterday, and i have the same problem with pictures going in sideways. I have to dump about half of them from posting before i press "Post reply" and i have a Motorola, not I-phone. ERIE switcher:

Only three New York Central E units have been painted experimentally in this green scheme. According to one of the rail fans, this one was found by chance painted in different colors. When the restoration crew started to clean the locomotive, they ran into this green under different paint layers. After doing some research, they realised what it was and decided to restore the locomotive in this very rare scheme:

Unfortunately we were not allowed to walk where this NJ Transit E60 was standing, so from the speeding train i got this very poor shot:

Back in early 1980s when New Jersey Transit bagan to form it's own identity, they began to dispose of their GG1s which they got from Conrail. To replace them, about 10 E60 class electric locomotives were acquired from Amtrak. They basically were a stop gap measure before NJT was able to buy electric locomotives more suited for the task of hauling trains into Penn Station in Manhattan. In 1990 NJ Transit began purchasing ALP44 electric locomotives and this E60 # 958 was to my knowledge last operational NJT unit.

Good afternoon. It’s a nice sunny 85f degrees. Thank you for the birthday wishes.

We took a short trip to Rural Route 1 Popcorn Factory in Monfort, Wi. Just under a 1 hour trip one way. We came home with 7 different flavors of popcorn. One flavor Cheddar Jalapeño is for the son in law the other 6 are for Terry and me.

I had read about an old concrete coaling tower a few years in Monfort. Kind of surprised when it appeared fairly close to Wi. Hwy 18. But off in a farmers field with no seeable access and also next to a solar field and wind generator complex. So no pictures but I found these online

Literally in a farmers corn field with no tracks or old ROW to be found. Reading about it, it was on the Madison leg of an old CN & W wye. Tracks were gone in the early 80’s

And yes, I grabbed a bag and went out to clean it up. Obviously, the perp isn't going to if it was there for over 3 hours since my wife noticed it on the way to go visit her mother.

I sent a report the HOA pres and asked if we can bill th perp after we catch them in addition to whatever the city does, and redirect to whoever cleans it up. I've had it enough that I don't want the shit on our walk, and the maintenance staff isn't going to get to it. They're in leaf/gutter clean up and closing down the pools.

Not to mention the Maint Staff golf carts seem to know just exactly where the piles are because they usually get flattened. The drivers don't see them on the dark path, and then it's ground into the pavement for everyone not looking to walk on.

I even told the HOA pres that my wife said I'm officially a "Grumpy Old Man" at only 61. 🤣 (she's right as usual.)

I don't see it much of that here. It's a big adjustment for me living in a town and having 2 little poop generators, I ALWAYS have a poop bag in my pocket.
