Good morning, Everybody!
Not a good night for me health wise. Subsequently not a good blood pressure reading this morning. I'll spare you the actual reading. It's enough to say it is unsafe which means no work this morning. As much as I don't like turning down holiday rates. I don't like endangering my wife and others on the road even more. Unsafe blood pressure, no driving for me. It seldom happens that my blood pressure is this low, this early in the morning.
It was too much of a good thing yesterday. My wife's delicious homemade hamburgers, combined with my gluttony did me in. I had to have a huge double hamburger with lettuce and tomato on a Schmidt's 6/4/7 kaiser roll. And of course I went for the second huge ear of corn, with butter! Too much for me and my body let it go straight through me. It was one of those nights when you finally fart, it makes you happy.
It's hard to believe there was a time I could eat and drink all day, play all night, and still work the next day without skipping a beat. My wife is right when she tells me, "Superman is dead" I may not even be Clark Kent but I'm still alive and loving life.
On the bright side my glucose was great, 75 this morning. Now I need to get rehydrated.
I usually don't mention when my Birds lose. I try to focus on the positive. But I had to boast about the ass whooping Saturday. It's only right that I eat crow now because the Giants returned the favor yesterday. What an unusual series that was, one ass whopping after another. I only wish it were a four-game series. It's my Birds' turn! Oh well... on to San Diego.
My man "Tommy" Sugano had his worst start of the year yesterday. Verlander had his best start of the year, it happens. I must hand it to the old fella. Looking at the box score the old veteran schooled my baby Birds. Verlander threw 121 pitches in five innings! It appears my boys tried to be patient, but it looks like the old veteran made good payoff pitches when it counted the most.
It's time to watch the replay of Sunday's game to find out for sure. Despite the loss I will enjoy seeing Verlander get the win. It has been a tough season (3W-10L) for the old veteran. At his age and considering how much money he has made in his career he is still pitching for the love of the game. Verlander's win Sunday was the 265th win of his fantastic career.

Or when you get pissed as I did several times today. Sat down, watched Unearthed History, calmed down and repeated. And not the Aussie pissed although that would have been much better.

Twice a day every day. More if I feel fatigued.
The consequences of gluttony caused the drop.
I should have thought of that. The prices have doubled recently.
We like to think we buy coffee. We only rent it.
I'm still trying to remember to write 2025.
