It is visible from the paved road if one knows what to look for.
There’s a few in Wisconsin still standing. The closest one to me is actually still standing above the active UP mainline tracks at Clyman Junction heading to Milwaukee and Chicago
At retirement when I was designing layouts for the new house I was thinking of putting a coal tower over the main using the picture as something to model
I scouted out the tower location a few years ago when Big Boy 4014 was scheduled into Wisconsin on this trackage. The day of the Big Boy the Juneau County Sheriff said there were over 1000 cars parked in the area to see the steam engine. We were about 20 miles west at a place called Freisland where the Big Boy stopped for about 45 minutes.
It actually takes a lot of effort to take them down, that's why so many are still standing. This beauty is in Thurmond, West Virginia:

A locomotive sat in one spot with its wheels spinning long enough to grind away the rails in circles matching the wheels.

For the iPad using folks who have image orientation issues. I don't have the answer, but I bet it's related to the orientation meta-data and the browser software or whatever software (maybe the forum) respecting it.
When the iPad (and iPhone) takes a picture, it also records the orientation of the device. Simple example, you put your phone in landscape mode and take a pic. The pic is rotated 90% from the normal camera UP orientation. That is recorded in meta-data embedded in the image. When you look at it on the phone or iPad, it looks correct, because the device is changing the orientation of the image relative to the orientation of the device, so when you view the image with the device back in portrait (up and down) mode, it still looks correct.
Now the problem is sometimes that when you're taking pictures of something down below, like over a table, the iPhone or iPad may be more or less parallel to the table but may slightly tilt to one side or back and forth. So you may not realize your'e getting an orientation flag different than what you think it should be. You're taking a pic of a train from above and your iPad is tilted slightly to the side. That is no longer "up" orientation.
I had to deal with this when adding in camera support to our medical chat app at work several years ago. To make sure pics always looked up when displayed I had to deal with this orientation and adjust for it.
I don't know the solution here but I bet it is related to this orientation flag and some software ignoring it.

Went on the evening stroll and the serial pooper hadn't shown today...
Speaking of poop, I realized my cat hasn't in three days.
Wondering if switching his food a month ago was enough to get his hairballs affecting him (vet advised senior food, and that doesn't come with the anit-hairball oils. So I stopped and got him some of gel to rub on a paw or his nose. It's Tuna flavored. I asked him what it tasted like, and he gave me the evil eye for coating his paw with it.

These things were built to last, not like today's stuff.
