Good Afternoon All!
70F @ 52% partly with slight wind.
Late posting, but not late up. Have been puttering around, Maria made French Toast for BFast an hour or so ago. Yummy! We finally got around to putting in the AC for the bedroom as we are to see 100F+ this week and the next. I can not hold the thing up and balance it for the wood that replaces the window glass...
For all of you new to Montana. Just think: it was 102F yesterday, in a few months it is gonna be ~120F less than that.
Waiting on HD to confirm our order ( already taken $$$ out of the V/MC ) and call us with delivery date. Even though they charged us ~$75 for delivery, it is still cheaper than renting a trailer and the gas to and from. So in-between sweating bouts, gathering the pressure treated for the bottom plates amongst some other stuff. Lazy day kinda.
Want to cut my helix ramp boards. While looking at the track plan, I decided there were spots that were just to crammed together where the helix meets the rest of the layout. Looks to be framework spaghetti. So, thinking of moving the helix to a room corner with enough wiggle room for maintenance. That should give me more room to play with in the interior layout section. Going to make the isle ways to 4ft ( was 3ft ) where possible. Still will probably have some 3ft or less squeeze areas though. Reality's Bairwood yard will become Bairwood Exchange Yard. Other than that, not much will change track wise with the outer plan, although the interior will change some. In case you have forgotten, the interior section is the 'mountainous section' which changes a whopping 12" from upper end to lower end. Gonna have to fake some grades and perspectives, I guess.
