Noted while driving around that regular gasoline was mostly at $3.39/gal. I don't understand the diesel thing though. I just looked up the national average which shows $6.28/gal, meaning that a lot of places are higher; but all around here it is in the $5.45/gal range. So some places must be really high. Hello California?
Gas around here seems to be about $4.69 or thereabouts. Probably because most of it is trucked in and with high diesel it adds to the cost. It has been bouncing around the last week or two. Got up close to $5 and lower like $4.39.
Walmart and Costco are cheaper anyway
Diesel around here is right at that national average you mentioned. So your price must cancel out with California to get us the average.
Thank you

Ramble on!
I was listening to this yesterday.
Good morning, all! Not much to report. Walked around the yard and filled an old kitchen trash can with pinecones. Most were either mowed or half eaten by squirrels.
TomO - Good news that Terry is getting out. Recover at home is usually better since you can get comfortable.
STAY SAFE
LATER
I've been working all morning on packing up all the bush branches for the town to take away this Friday. The only thing left are the dug up roots. Once the roots get bagged up, we install the new fencing and plants grass seed. Swal

Well, I was only going to give the front and near back yard one more cut for the season. I ended up cutting it all. It wasn't really very thick at all because of the recent weather, but some of it was a bit tall. Especially the Bluegrass. The fescue is all but done for the year.
Even though it wasn't really tall, the fallen leaves made it easy to see where I hadn't yet cut. Made pretty quick work of it too. Done in 40 minutes, front and back.
Heart rate was 102 immediately after coming into the house and now three minutes later is down to 88 and falling. So recovery is still good on the half-dose of Metoprolol without it getting out of hand and racing. Don't feel winded either or I would have stopped. No dizziness or light-headedness either.
So far, so good.
TomO great news!
Back is still giving me fits, didn't help the power went out this morning and I had to manually lift the garage door so Lady C could get out. 67 here right now and real pretty. Got heat on the back now that the power is back on.
We start a Mission's Conference at Church tonight, I'm praying the back eases up. Chiropractor's Office is closed today so that's out.
Anyway, you guys have a good day.

Growing up with that last name, I could see that one coming from a mile away, and yes my Dad's name was James!

Tightening a few bolts? So the weatherman is admitting to a few screws loose??
Speaking of USPS: Over the weekend I ordered something from a company about 30 minutes away from me.
Monday morning, October 19, there was a shipping notification with a USPS tracking number and an estimated delivery for yesterday (October 20). Monday night I did a track of it on usps.com and it showed it was at the main Salt Lake City distribution center, but it said the estimated delivery was for Thursday October 22. Today I tracked it again and it and it said it had arrived in St. Paul MN at 11:03pm on October 20. LOL
Not sure why they're going through St. Paul is necessary to ship a box 30 minutes up I-15 inside Utah...

This may be because a huge PHP security hole was found and a huge portion of the Internet is susceptible. I've seen multiple sites offline today all of a sudden, as people scramble to fix it.
So the weatherman is admitting to a few screws loose??
Then they turned around and upgraded last weekends rain storm into a sub tropical disturbance...running out of time to use up those names.
