Noted while driving around that regular gasoline was mostly at $3.39/gal. I don't understand the diesel thing though. I just looked up the national average which shows $6.28/gal, meaning that a lot of places are higher; but all around here it is in the $5.45/gal range. So some places must be really high. Hello California?
Gas around here seems to be about $4.69 or thereabouts. Probably because most of it is trucked in and with high diesel it adds to the cost. It has been bouncing around the last week or two. Got up close to $5 and lower like $4.39.
Walmart and Costco are cheaper anyway
Diesel around here is right at that national average you mentioned. So your price must cancel out with California to get us the average.
Thank you

Ramble on!
I was listening to this yesterday.
Good morning, all! Not much to report. Walked around the yard and filled an old kitchen trash can with pinecones. Most were either mowed or half eaten by squirrels.
TomO - Good news that Terry is getting out. Recover at home is usually better since you can get comfortable.
STAY SAFE
LATER
I've been working all morning on packing up all the bush branches for the town to take away this Friday. The only thing left are the dug up roots. Once the roots get bagged up, we install the new fencing and plants grass seed. Swal

Well, I was only going to give the front and near back yard one more cut for the season. I ended up cutting it all. It wasn't really very thick at all because of the recent weather, but some of it was a bit tall. Especially the Bluegrass. The fescue is all but done for the year.
Even though it wasn't really tall, the fallen leaves made it easy to see where I hadn't yet cut. Made pretty quick work of it too. Done in 40 minutes, front and back.
Heart rate was 102 immediately after coming into the house and now three minutes later is down to 88 and falling. So recovery is still good on the half-dose of Metoprolol without it getting out of hand and racing. Don't feel winded either or I would have stopped. No dizziness or light-headedness either.
So far, so good.
