Just made it back from the doc. He took me off the lyrica and put me on meloxicam to see if that helps with my memory issues. I hope that it does and still works for the pain.

I hope that he told you that meloxicam is a NSAID pain reliever and can cause internal bleeding if overused or if you might be sensitive to that. I don't think that it should be used in conjunction with Aleve, Motrin or Advil either.
Don't ask how I know that!
OK, I'll try. Wish me luck
Got my taxes done and submitted. Getting back a good chunk of money which will help catch up a month or so with the bank with the house which will buy us some time.
Major factors were all the energy efficiency stufff that had tax credits that weren't able to be used fully last year as we maxed out how much you could use in one year so the excess rolled over plus we had the solar panels and with the high interest rates a huge amount of interest paid which brought us back a good chunk. I'm glad it's over until next year and I'm not even rushing to e-file before midnight like I usually am.

Yup, the doc didn't tell me that but the pharmacist did. No more motrin for now. Thanks!
I just sent an email to CONCOR, who bought out Labelle, who just changed ownership, who did something else and yadda yadda about the oil and sent them the pic. I hope they respond...
Hey Cujo, Always good to see your posts!
Just my two cents concerning the oil. Separation of oil and additives is enough of a reason to toss it out.

Congratulations! I know firsthand what a relief that is!
Getting back a good chunk of money
Not familiar with that part of it.

At least I didn't have to pay as much as I had first thought.

No energy efficiency credits for our 1950s house. I'm glad to read your ultra-modern house is already paying off!
Good morning Everybody!
Not my kind of MLB postseason game last night. I'm watching it now, but the box score told me not to get my hopes up.
Seattle's starter George Kirby looked sharp in the first two innings. He threw 20 fastballs out of 24 pitches. The Blue Jays were ready in the third inning. The #8 and #9 hitters were sitting dead-red. That quick it was 2-0 Blue Jays. Go to the well too often and any hitter becomes a dangerous hitter in modern baseball.
When Kirby tried to lean on his secondary pitches more it got ugly. The Blue Jays put up a crooked number, 5 in the third inning. It looked like Kirby would have a bounce back inning when he blew through #8 and #9 in the fourth inning. But the old veteran, George Springer added another run with a solo homerun to straight away centerfield.
After 4 innings Kirby was done. The box score tells me the middle of Seattle's bullpen wasn't any better. So much for homefield advantage.
It won't be hard to pause this to go to work.
Have an enjoyable day Everybody!

I think my next-door neighbor would slap me if I tried, but I can try telling her Dr. Bond told me to, and see what happens...

Good morning. It's 65 and clear.
Good Thursday morning! It's 55°F and partly cloudy.
Have a great day!
I'll be sure to inspect all the Melons at the grocery store, even the ones in the checkout line.
Might even head to Wal-Mart, they have melons in ever aisle.
OK, I'll try. Wish me luck
I did!
Hospital visiting times are 10.00am to 6.00pm.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
If you make listening and observation your occupation, you will gain much more than you can by talk.
Good morning all. A coffee on the go please, Flo.
Out and about shopping etc.
Hopefully run some trains later.
New arrival at Leeds Sovereign Street. A Class 1F in 1950s livery. Needs to go into the workshops and returned to a 1914/1919 timeframe.
I'm back, one package to Annapolis and I'm done.
Now back to baseball.

That's probably best. Thanks!

You are welcome. Thank you for all your great posts. I especially. enjoy your projects.
Do you mind me calling you Cujo? I would never want to offend you.
I could call you Tom, but we have a Tom. I wouldn't want to call you Dick, maybe Harry?

Might even head to Wal-Mart, they have melons in ever aisle.
I would skip Wal-Mart, judging by some of the "melons" I've seen in some of the isles!
