Apple Computer, Inc. was founded on April 1, 1976, by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne as a partnership in Los Altos, California, with the goal of marketing Wozniak's Apple I desktop computer. The company was officially incorporated on January 3, 1977, in Cupertino, California.
Ronald Wayne left the company just days after its founding, selling his 10% stake back to Jobs and Wozniak for $800.
Jobs and Wozniak began building the Apple I in Jobs' garage, selling it as a bare motherboard with a CPU, RAM, and basic video capabilities, requiring users to add their own keyboard and monitor. The operation of building the computer moved from Jobs bedroom to the garage after running out of room.

I'll bet Ronald Wayne is still kicking himself in the A$$.............
We had all the founders and early (1980's) tech pioneers of Silicon Valley coming into the club to eat and conduct business.
Bob Noyce, Bill Hewlett, Nolan Bushnell, Jerry Sanders, Larry Ellison, etc.

Well its Official, our mail carrier is an idiot. Mailbox was full tonight, all from houses 1/4 mile away. Wife and I took a nice walk after dinner stuffing neighbors mailboxes with misguided mail. Nice walk on a pleasant evening, but totally unnecessary. Question is, did we get any mail today? 🤔 The other question is , is this a direct result of the gubberment shut down? After all, if I'm not getting paid why should I give a 💩?

On the train side of things, the second run of Rapidos 44 tonners are (according to the web site) here and going through final inspection and QC at their HQ. It has been a year since I pre-ordered mine, can't wait for the call from my not so local LHS. Expect a glut of Bachmann 44 tonners on the secondary market soon!

ROAD HEAD FOR THE WIN!!!
Thats why I always preferred pick ups with bench seats!;)

12 hour shift today, but didn't feel like going home after, so down to Perryville, Maryland i went to check out the action on Northeast Corridor. MARC commuter train was sitting by the platform awaiting departure and a southbound Amtrak. I took the opportunity to get a few close up shots of MP36 diesel:

Look at all that piping:

The crew were chilling on the south side of the train, so i took a very rare opportunity and shot a low side view on the busiest tracks in the US:

Meanwhile a couple of northbounds came by:

Except for the trains themselves, everything here is Pennsy; the tracks, the position signaling, the catenary and huge substation in the back.

An inbound shot of MARC coming in from Baltimore:

The pictures are not in order.
