I don't use Safari, though for this experiment, I'm going to try using it for a while and see if the issue follows me there.
It is definitely a strange one. I never heard of this before. Hope you find it soon as it has to be driving you and making you mad.

And on an equally frustrating, but not so important issue, finally figured out the forward and reverse led circuit for a light board. This is for 8 pin sockets with pin 2 being the tail light, pin 6 being the headlight and pin 7 being the +vcc. I had to rewire a LL Proto 2000 SD7 that had a ton of diodes that were drawing current with no motor and no lights attached. Just stripped them all off and wired in LEDs. It would work with powering the pins separately, like in DCC mode, but would not work in DC. I forgot that I needed to create a path for the current to flow for the reverse biased LED. Just in case anybody has the same problem.
I'll take a coffee, black and plenty of it please!
Since my house move, I feel I have barely had a chance to sit down, I did get one of my shelf layouts up and running again, now incorporated into the longer track I am putting together.
Got an old second hand purchase up and running again as a reserve unit:
But inevitably a repair on a further Atlas S series switcher has turned into a complete rebuild job!
So much to do, so little time. I'll take a couple of pastries to go too...
Good morning all!
Had some rain overnight. In fact there are some light showers as of now falling. Looking at the radar it will exit the area soon. Not sure
how much we got overnight, too dark still to see the rain gauge, Currently 57F with a cool high of 67F.
Nothing much on the agenda for this morning. My usual load of laundry. Have to get to CVS to pick up a prescription for the wife.
Volleyball game tonight is away, so dinner will be somewhere on the way home.
Have a safe day everyone!
69°F/69°F this morning with the cold front just to the northwest of here. Coming through dry and should pass about 10AM with any luck. Dewpoint is highest it has been in over a week, maybe two, and then is going to crash into the 40s this afternoon. Temp will be around 70°F today and dry. It is supposed to be Autumn-like for at least the next four days before hitting 80°F by Saturday.
Off to the cardiologist this morning at 0830 for my annual poke and prod and 20 questions. If the doctor actually shows up on time I should back here drinking the rest of my coffee pot by 0900. Fortunately the hospital/cardiology clinic is only three blocks away.
I think some brats are due on the grill for lunch and they are already thawed. And that's my day for today.
Hope your day is pleasant and Autumn-like wherever you are.
THOUGHT FOR TODAY
The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn’t said.
Morning all,
54° and rainy, clearing and a high of 65° later.
I hate when updates change your settings, especially the new AI systems. They slow down my searches and usually don't provide the correct answer for what I need. Like an intern telling someone doing the job for a long time how to do a job because he read it someplace and being totally wrong.
The Medicare reminders are getting to me. Reminding me I'll have to sign up after the first of the year. At least all I'll need is mandatory Part A (hospital) and a Part C (drug coverage) as our prescription portion of city medical is no longer Medicare qualified. My BP med is free from Sam's as a plus member and not paid for by my drug coverage anyway. I love that they find a way to "penalize" you for not using the system.
I have some of those and they are really handy.
I didn't get a stand with mine. I use a square of 2" foam.
Same here, great minds think alike
Good morning from wet dreary looking So. Central Wisconsin. 50f degrees now maybe 63 later. I have not yet checked the outside rain gauge but it didn’t seem like much wetness fell from the skies. Terry’s TV guy said at most 1/2” was excepted at the 6pm prediction segment of the local news. The daily forecast for the next 5 days says the highest percentage chance of rain is 5 in the period.
Things change! At 2 this afternoon I am heading over to the friend’s layout to work on his paper mill. Terry got a call from her best friend yesterday late afternoon and she has tickets to the Brewers playoff game/Cub game Wednesday in Wrigley Field and needs a ride! The Son in Law’s best friend and best man at the wedding lives 2 blocks from the ball park and has underground parking. We can walk from there!
The grandson texted around 6 last night. His brand new slot car wouldn’t move. So over the next 15 minutes we texted back and forth. I told him to take off the body and look at the wires. Yep, one of the leads came off. Texted his mom that he needed to solder the wire back. She watched as he soldered it. He has done some soldering for me the last couple years and is good. Tested it, put the body back on and all is good.
Enjoy the day
Good morning gang!!
54° and partly sunny, with temps near 79° with rain showers later. I had considered washing the Colorado today, til I saw the weather report. I'll wait til after the rain before I wash it up for the trip south later this week.
I did Windex all the inside glass last night. Amazing how dirty the glass gets over the course of 2 months when I don't smoke or eat in the truck. They tell me it is the off-gassing of the interior plastics. Wife claims its from me off-gassing!

Tom, that is fantastic news, thanks for sharing it! I'll look for you when I watch the game. Let's hope all the Cubs need is a change of scenery. I don't care who wins, I just want to the series to go to five games!

More proof you married the right lady.
