You can always make up for lost time. Make sure your wife is cool with it.
You won't find a more welcoming place than a
"show bar". Until your money runs out.
If your wife is not cool with it, it was not my idea!
I don't want to get 5 pages behind.
That can happen quickly!
I'm looking forward to photos from the gulf. Don't take any photos of the young ladies on the beaches, unless you have their permission.
Most importantly, be safe, another reason not to take those photos I mentioned.
He had an order of cheesy jalapeños fries and I split an Italian beef with him. He claims those fries were the best he’s ever had, he’s still 11!
I'm a lot older than 11 and I am still impressed by the last good thing I ate, which is almost everything I ate.
He was a die-hard Cubs fan, so the request is to wear Cubs shirts. I thought that was a neat idea.
God Bless him and who ever thought of that!

His daughters say, that's the way he would of wanted it.
Morning all,
Got up late this morning. Had a "sleep study" the past 3 nights. Can't sleep in my normal position due to the monitor. No wonder I'm tired in the morning...
Weather app says it's raining and 64° currently. Supposed to be getting cooler. I did manage to get out and get 4 cases of Diet Coke and a case of Diet Dr Pepper. We already had 5 12 packs of DP in the pantry cabinet in the garage. I was out of Diet Coke. Kid at the checkout said it was going to last me a while. I said less then 2 weeks on the Coke. Do I have a habit?
Willie: Safe travels
Troy: Enjoyed the link.

Could be you do, but there are far worse habits to have. I wouldn't worry.
Patrick,
I’m a Coke Zero junkie,I can relate!
I owed almost $4K last tax cycle, which took me by surprise since I had retired in Aug. I figured 1/3 the year of eating cup o'noodles would have put me in a lower bracket. I cranked up my W-4 for my govt retirement pay to try to balance that out this year, but I'm thinking (hoping) that it bounces the other way by a lot. It'll be a couple of cycles of ping pong before I get it close to zero or owe very little. But then it'll change...
The first couple of post retirement tax returns were a surprise. Then it settles down. That's when you discover the sales pitch for 401k and IRA plans is not exactly what you anticipated.
I haven't had a soda in months. When I do it's a 7-Up. I don't really like cola. Root beer I'm good with, but 7-Up is my favorite. Don't try and tell me Sprite is just like 7-Up, 'cause it ain't!
I usually keep a few bottles in the fridge for when my nephew visits, but I haven't bought any in awhile. He's usually drinking a bottled tea when he shows up, and I also keep a pitcher of fresh brewed iced tea in the fridge.
There's also a gallon of apple cider in the fridge and I'll keep buying that until it goes out of season around the end of December. I love that stuff and would drink it year around if I could get it.
I can drink any soda but try and avoid it most of the time. I like Mt Dew of any sort, Root Beer, Grapefruit sodas, and Apple Beer the best. But can drink anything. Coke Zero with a splash of root beer and lemonade when I'm at Costco.
We don't usually buy it except for special occasions in the house. Mostly when we go out to eat.
It’s McDonalds founder coke for me. Can’t seem to lay off the stuff.
Good afternoon all. Up in King of Prussia today at a small train show. Not much spent

, but this huge module of Bethlehem Steel complex was great:

It used to be that their Coke was really great, it stung your throat just drinking it from all the popping, but lately it seems bland. I like the Mexican Coke from twisted glass bottles, but that's not available everywhere.

I agree its kind of hit and miss the last couple of years, but its still (to me anyway) the best fountain coke out there! Its a great
day when you do get one and the mix is just right.
{lus our McDonalds in town still has LG fountain drinks for a $1.00.

Wow!!!
Someone has some serious bucks tied up in just the Blast Furnaces!
What brand and model tires do you have? I know some tires are rounder than others, and your issue sure sounds like a tire or wheel problem. I’ve also seen a small handful of vibration problems caused by severely out of balance rotors, the type of Chineseum parts you’d get somewhere like Autozone or even Amazon.
Please note, this vibration started after about 4 years on my old set of tires. Those were Goodyear tires. What I'm trying to say is that for about 4 years, on the Goodyears, I had no vibration issues, I get in one day and all of a sudden I have a new vibration. It was not bad to begin with but got worse. The Goodyear tires still had good tread but had started to crack between the treads all around the tire......they aged out before wearing out. Those old Goodyears had about 55 thousand miles on em so I felt I got my monies worth. I had a set of Cooper tires installed about 6 months ago but the vibration persisted. Tires were balanced when purchased and my mechanic said he took them down to the local tire shop just to double check the balance job and they all checked out OK.
Mechanic says front disk rotors, brake pads and wheel bearings are all OK. I had him install some new Bilstein shocks but problem still persists after that, no change.
With all that said, that is one reason I thought maybe a bad u-joint as I had a similar issue many years ago with another vehicle.
My next guess is the harmonic balancer. I think vibration is in the driveline and torque converter problems are usually "noise" problems not vibration.
Take care....John
It could be the harmonic balancer. I remember decades ago these did not normally ever go bad or become defective. Working at AZ for almost 20 years showed me that balancers on newer vehicles fail quite a bit.
Check that your CV boots are intact with no tears or holes. That can lead to a bad u-joint by contamination which can cause your vibration on a joint that is failing.

John if you have the same problem with two different sets of tires, I am 99.99% sure it is not the tires causing the problem. The .01% is due to strange stuff happening in extraordinarily rare cases. Unless it is a bent wheel, but they are usually easy to find.
Have you had the rear brakes replaced near the time, but before the vibration?
If you are feeling the vibration more in your seat it may be coming from the driveline or somewhere in the rear. If you feel it more in the steering wheel it may be coming from somewhere in the front end.
How bad is the problem? Is it safe to drive? Can you live with it for now? If it gets worse it will likely be easier to isolate.
I wish you well.
Here is the real Bethlehem Steel blast furnace:
Shot just now.
is it abandon? I can think of a lot of reasons to open it back up lol

Yes, it's been abandoned since about early 1990s. Some of the grounds have been converted to hotels, casinos and other wasteful stuff.

My 1st sighting of Mexican Coke was a stack of cases at the contractor check out counter at Home Depot. Talk about targeted marketing!
