I see you up there. Getting ready to cross into California. Your flight is listed as SkyWest 5736 It doesn't look like you will have much time between flights. Your Tokyo flight leaves in less than two hours.
Starting a new diorama. I finished the main structures, but I still need to wait for some missing parts for the coal bin.
Speaking of the coal bin. Bar Mills could not have made a more challenging and confusing kit. One page says to do this and three pages forward it says you'll probably have to remove it to make things fit right. Parts and pictures don't match and there is a lot of "you just have to figure it out". I like a challenge, but at least the photos and parts should match.
So it's a coal yard. Office, truck scale, and coal bin.
This will be the track side. I'll need to make a dump pit for the elevator. One of those shown, but not included things.
837. The other is probably headed to Haneda. We were originally going to Haneda but the flight was changed so they rebooked us to Narita so we could make the connection. Since we’re going on to Sapporo it doesn’t matter which one we land at. In fact going to Narita gets in to Sapporo an hour earlier.
We did make it and get to the gate after they had started board ing. They were still boarding group 1 (we were 2) so we made it.
I was also able to get my Japanese eSIM installed and also buy one for the wife and get hers installed while we were boarded and waiting.
Good Afternoon All and those with strange holes in the ground.
45F @ 90% with partly.
Got back pretty late ( for us ) last night; picked up Chinese for dinner in Libby at the place on the way by. It was yummy, but played hell on my blood sugar poke this am: 150.
We have a strange hole or 2 in a couple of places. The bore is about 5" and goes down and curves around. Skunk maybe. Anyway, I threw a rather large rock into that one. No other escape holes since I did it 2 months ago. So either vacant, or dead. Cats take care of the smaller stuff, so no worry there...
Doing Sunday stuff today - pretty much putter around and grazing....
Good afternoon and safe travels. 59 here and sunny right now but storms forecast for tonight. Really good day at Church, we had Communion in the Afternoon service. Finishing off some leftover coffee and relaxing is the plan for this afternoon.
You guys have a good day.
Good evening. It's clear and 74.
The bathroom in my house had a single Fluorescent tube-equipped light fixture. It was yellow-ish, had the usual old-fashioned 60-cycle hum, and wasn't all that bright.
So, I took advantage of the River Place's Black Friday sale, and got a replacement LED light fixture. I was concerned a single light wouldn't be bright enough to take the place of the existing light. After installing the new light, I can assure you it's bright enough. I now need to wear sunglasses to use the bathroom.
