And the Orioles lost again. New Manager, same team. Can't stay this way, can it?

Caught a glimpse of a couple of AH-1Z - Vipers moving W to E Low and Fast this morning. Most likely part of the large national exercises, rather than the Air Show at the joint base. Once the fog lifted, it was a beautiful day. 85° felt great after a week of cold and damp.

Louis brought us up to date on the Preakness. I'm happy Baffert's Horse was an also ran.

Never good to have the “oh crap” moment. Take care and remember being 35 years ago is long gone…

Well, howdy there internet people, especially those still breathing.

It's Troy again.

I slept in until 4:53! I'm normally up an hour earlier. Nice cool weather last night and. could sleep with the windows open.

Today is the big driving to Pennsylvania day. Looks like US 30 through Western OH, then 71 to 80 in NE OH to NW Penn, Loop that around to where 80 heads south and becomes 522.

Right Now at 5:21, google tells me that's an 8 hours and 40 min drive. Round that up to 10 hours with potty stops. Trying to leave about 7 am depends on when the wife gets up.

Here's the forecast for the week. We travel back on Thurs. Wed looks like it will be explore museums day.

Looks like I shall be doing a lot of cooking today. :D

Dawn would like a Full English for Lunch, hence a Brunch.

Off course there is Afternoon Tea to have.

Chicken with Peppers on a bed of Rice for dinner.

Following Great Grandmother's footsteps?
Where are the girls flying to?

About the only true journalism left.
I was skeptical when The Baltimore Sun was purchased by billionaire David Smith, the Executive Chairman of Sinclair Broadcast Group. But I kept my subscription and I'm glad I did. The Sun is fairer and more balanced than it has been in many years. It is my go-to source for news, the little I read.

I still miss the big paper with its own news bureaus around the world. But I'm happy it has survived this long.

And today is Sunday. I look forward to seeing my paper on the driveway!
