If you build an easement in and out of that curve it will allow you to get away with a sharper radius.Hmmm. How long can I make the add on to get a good curve?

Have to leave soon but wanted to say good morning and get a bit of help. What model railroad supplier would you recommend for good prices and good service. It has been so long since I needed to buy any model railroad items that one that I used to buy from has gone bye bye. Haven't found my micrometer to get the size of the flex track that Todd donated. May have enough track as I don't want to overwhelm the small space I have with track. Maybe a turnout or two. Will be looking into some structures and scenery items. The LED string lights I ordered from Amazon shows that it has arrived.Yeah last night at 12:45am this morning I tried to get in. One line obituary. Not able at all. In the middle of the night. Now at 10am (noon eastern) it’s just fine. Kind of weird.Site was humming along nicely for a little while, then choked.
Explain that in English or English and a diagramIf you build an easement in and out of that curve it will allow you to get away with a sharper radius.
Not only will it operate much better it will make your equipment just look better going through it.
Well! I understood that without a diagram. Easements are just that. They ease the track with a wider radius into the tighter radius. I even use them on my 28"-34" curves, just because I have the room.Explain that in English or English and a diagram
I've used Trainworld, Model Train Stuff, and Trainz with no issues. TW usually has the better pricing unless the others are running sales. Service has been equally good. Even Walthers will have a sale that makes it a worthwhile purchase.View attachment 268442 Have to leave soon but wanted to say good morning and get a bit of help. The forum sure seems to be slow this morning. Had problems with it yesterday also. Maybe if I would show up more often, I may know what's happening. Thanks for the likes posted. I do miss the hobby and even the small area I have will help.
Troy - Don't knock Fiats. I had one when my ship was home ported out of Gaeta, Italy. Enjoyed the "experience". Had it a couple of weeks before I realized it was a 4 speed on the column. It was a Fiat 1100. I wi9ll admit it was easy to give up and sell when my BMW Bavaria was ready at the factory. Wouldn't think of buying a BMW today. They don't build them like they did years ago. I call them junk.

I use Lombard hobbies almost excusably. If you sign up for their email blasts they offer specials all the time. That is the time to. What model railroad supplier would you recommend for good prices and good service
