I didn't know, that one needs an excuse to drink beer....![]()

BigE my grandmother is from Cork, my great aunt (her sister) loved to drink boiler makers.
If I stray from my beer, I like my bourbon. Jack Black is usually what I keep at home but I have an open mind to all brands.
Before I went to Daytona for the 500 I was posting pictures of various place around Montana. Guess I forgot when I got home. Here are a few shots in my local area near Bozeman, MT.
The first is an eastbound train climbing the 1.8 percent grade out of Bozeman, MT. The second at near the summit just before going through the tunnel at the summit and the last is a shot of a train decending downgrade into Livingston, MT.
Time to head to town, hurl a ball and enjoy some brew.
Are you an ale drinker 113? I don't much care for ales, they are not bad, but lagers are so much better in my opinion.
Nice B&O photo 113, thank you and thank you for the Frisco locomotive photos as well!
I have really become a fan of microbrews and craft beers. When I was in the Navy I was fortunate enough to have traveled to over 73 countries and I am sure that during these visits I sampled as many of the local beer as I could. Sorry, I like my beer.![]()
Lime goes well with VODKA , tho some folks prefer lemon. I used to make pitchers of Vodka and 7 UP with a slice of lime. Oh yeah.

BigE next time you are buying whiskey try an Irish whiskey, my favorite. The word Whiskey comes from the Gaelic language and in Gaelic it means "water of life" The Irish and Scots/Irish take whiskey very seriously. Although Irish Whiskey and Scotch taste very different to me.
Did you know, to be proper, Irish is Whiskey, Scottish is Whisky, we don't use the 'e' here in Scotland....
Should any of you lads stop by Glasgow, give me a shout and we'll hit some pubs!
I did know that, but I won't acknowledge the Pics mistakes![]()
Boy can I tell some stories about boilermakers!! Fortunately cell phones and their cameras weren't popular or affordable back then otherwise they would have made me famous - or infamous depending on your take.
We go to national bowling tournaments in Reno, NV a few times a year and stay at the ElDorado casino which is 2 blocks from the bowling arena and at the casino there is a place called the Brew Brothers. We just can't explain how we end up in there in the evenings. Great microbrews could be the reason.
