I hate plumbing!Good morning, all! Hot and h yada, yada, yada, in Houston. We had a nice visit with our son, who lives in Oregon, was in for a 5 day stay. He volunteered to be a third and fourth hand in a couple of projects here, and the help was much appreciated. One such project was to change the kitchen sick faucet. Normally a rather simple task. Have you ever had a simple chore go south, turn to sh$t. That's what happened. We could not get the old faucet off. Ended up removing the entire sink. Well the drain fell off one of the basins. So how I need to get the parts for a drain repair. Nutshell, what should have been a 30 minute job turned into a 5 hour chore. Yesterday the rest of the family came over to visit and pizza.
Went to the dermatologist Thursday and had a number of spots frozen. This morning one of the spots, on my face, has turned into an ugly, angry red spot.
No trains were moved in the last few days.
HELLO Sherrel!

Getting into those spots is hard enough, getting out is even worse. Its the finagling into the tight spaces that I have trouble doing anymore!
Mine does too. Usually it's the phone, with my neighbor (the plumber) on the other end!!I thank God for my little Angel. She is always ready to hand me whatever it is that I hadn't noticed I would need.

Besides the new SD70 units, this train also has two classics: SD45-2 and a "Tunnel motor" SD40T-2
That is probably where I saw him...The name was familiar.Halperin and Heilemann co-wrote Game Change and Double Down: Game Change 2012, were co-hosts of MSNBC and Bloomberg's With All Due Respect,
Having them on the Susquehanna is a major upgrade for a line that ran overloaded RS-1s with the side doors opened for additional cooling in the summer.3634 was built in 1971 as an SD45 for BN. It was later upgraded to dash-2 standards.
From what I remember, Walter picked up a slew of used SD45s from BN when he got control of the Southern Tier route, and needed engines to pull the stack trains.Having them on the Susquehanna is a major upgrade for a line that ran overloaded RS-1s with the side doors opened for additional cooling in the summer.
Yeah, that was later though. This was back when Morris Maidman owned the Susquehanna. From what I remember, Walter picked up a slew of used SD45s from BN when he got control of the Southern Tier route, and needed engines to pull the stack trains.
Even worse when you need glasses to see what you are doing.I resemble that! Gets tougher as you get older.
