Good morning all!

Another decent looking day out there today. looks like the heat may start to build later next week.

Yesterday I worked outdoors all day. I ended up power washing the vinyl fence (both sides) and the entire house. Normally I would break it up into 2-3 days but my pressure washer is a total PITA to start for some reason and yesterday was no exception. I tugged on that thing for 30 or so minutes before it finally started. Once started and warmed up it will start first pull every time if kept warm. Once I got it started I decided to keep going and not have to deal with it today. Plus last nigh i also applied 4 rolls of plaster cloth to my mountains with a lot of reaching, so that didnt help!

To say the least, I'm sore from head to toe! Nobody is getting their 100% from me today!

Other than that my world is pretty quiet.

Have a safe day all!

Good morning, all! Hot and h yada, yada, yada, in Houston. We had a nice visit with our son, who lives in Oregon, was in for a 5 day stay. He volunteered to be a third and fourth hand in a couple of projects here, and the help was much appreciated. One such project was to change the kitchen sick faucet. Normally a rather simple task. Have you ever had a simple chore go south, turn to sh$t. That's what happened. We could not get the old faucet off. Ended up removing the entire sink. Well the drain fell off one of the basins. So how I need to get the parts for a drain repair. Nutshell, what should have been a 30 minute job turned into a 5 hour chore. Yesterday the rest of the family came over to visit and pizza.
Went to the dermatologist Thursday and had a number of spots frozen. This morning one of the spots, on my face, has turned into an ugly, angry red spot.
No trains were moved in the last few days.

HELLO Sherrel!

STAY SAFE
LATER

I hate plumbing!

Good Morning!

Just thought I'd make a quick visit and check out the train talk.
I've not been working with the trains lately. Mostly working with trail cams over the summer, along with fishing and home reno. The reno's not going very quick due to the excessive summer heat that I'm not conditioned to. Fishing and cameras are all weather, even if it kills me.

Not trains, but I always try to post some photos.
Here's some recent wildlife hanging around within 1000yds of my home.

I'm trying for the bears. I believe they are hanging out in the berry fields, though.

Anyway, I'll pop in from time to time, and be more active during the train modelling season.

Hope ya'll are staying happy and healthy. Have a good one!!
Still praying for you, Sherrel, in my atheist, woodsman kind of way!

Afternoon all,

After looking around, the Wichita metro area, with about 3/4 million people, is a geographical oddity. We're 2 weeks from anywhere.
Had 4 dishwasher models I liked and were from name brand US companies. 2 Whirlpool, a Hotpoint and a GE, ( yes I know GE and Hotpoint are no longer US owned). 1 was in stock, the others would be here in 2 weeks. Settled on a different Whirlpool that was on a special discount sale (another $50 off) and was in stock with better reviews. So it's in. Had the son and grandson doing it. I did connect the water line, and connect the cord to the unit, but they did good work.

First load is washing. Base is still off as I want to monitor for leaks the next few days.
