Everyone, I really need some serious prayers sent my way! Child Support/Ex wife aren't listening and I very close to losing my house and I need prayers to financial help! I can stress enough how much I'm hurting right now...... How much does one man have to take?

Karl Rocks is fun to grow. They need no watering and no other care that involves manual labor and if done correctly there is never any weeding to do around them. Plus they are cheap.

One of my co-workers went to court Monday to get his child support payments reduced. He's working two full-time jobs, plus working weekends on peoples' cars. The judge told him he needed to find a fourth job. "Request denied! Next case!" The court was stuffed to overflowing with guys that couldn't pay the child support that was ordered back when times were good and everybody was making money. 3 out of every 4 guys were going to jail there.

Good morning. It's 80° and sunny. The high today will be 101° (probably hotter) with no hope for rain. The temp will likely feel like 115°.

My plan for today. Mow my parents yard and get cooked well done in the process. I'm going to mow it with the blade height on a high setting so I don't kill the grass. Been there and done that.

On the layout front, unless you've been stranded out in Death Valley with no internet or phone signal you know that I got the F7B shell done yesterday. Now I'll be keeping my eyes open for an F7A shell of like or similar quality and condition for cheap or free. I lucked out on the F7B shell as the owner didn't need it and let me have it for the asking. If somebody has a detailed or somewhat detailed HO F7A shell that will fit on an Athearn chassis and doesn't need or want it and doesn't want much for it we need to talk.

Chris, none of us know your exact circumstances, but I have to go along with Patrick. It will hurt your credit and I am sure it is not the choice you want to make; however it will give you more financial flexibility and peace of mind. You are still young enough to repair the damage over the next few years and then start anew. Even if the divorce decree prevents this for some legal reason, you can't pay for something when you don't have any money and any attorney would be able to get this approved. You say you can't afford an attorney, but without the house mortgage ...... ;)

I've been evacuated from my home since a train derailed 200 yards from my townhouse! There are three tank cars full of God knows what. The police said "some nasty stuff". The local news chick was over there with her video camera so it must not be leaking. I'm guessing it's fuel or fertilizer. They said we had to pack a bag and couldn't come back until they say so. How ironic that I'm stranded at the in laws house because of a train!

Got into an argument with the heat today and lost. My prediction about getting cooked well-done while mowing the grass this morning was pretty close. That was bad enough. I got somewhat fried. But then I went to town to get some groceries without getting some rest first. I finished with that at about 2:20 this afternoon and was definitely feeling the effects of the heat. I had a bit to eat and drank quite a bit of water but still felt pretty bad. So about 4:30 pm I laid down to just get a little rest. Yeah! Right! I woke up at 9 pm. I feel better than I did but I'm not going much of anywhere for a day or two. I'm quite a bit redder than my usual natural red tinge. I hope it browns up nicely but knowing my luck it'll probably peel off.

On the layout front I was reminded of my limited knowledge of F unit models. What I've calling an F7B is an F3B. Should have done more research.

Good morning folks

It was 69 F as I hit the highways this morning and it was raining. It started raining last evening and we need it badly. The ground was harder than concrete. High today will be 85 F.

Did not make it to the forums yesterday. Things blew up a bit at work right as I walked in. We were informed that we had to get estimates in on all of our unit’s projects by the end of the day. I spent the day assembling estimates for 20 projects.

Yesterday was the last day of volleyball camps for my daughter. She is now off until high school try-outs on the 15th. We had a surprise call from a college coach on Tuesday night. She spoke with the coach for about 15 minutes and handled herself well. The coach invited her to make an unofficial visit to campus and said he may try to watch one of her high school games. Since the school is a Division III school the call was legal as they don’t have strict rules of contacting recruits before junior year.

My son got his team assignments for middle school 8th grade and he is happy. He got assigned to the team that he wanted. This means he will have the same teacher for Social Studies as he had last year. He is really excited about that since he had a great year with her. She really got him interested in history last year.

Not much else happening.

Chris we are praying for you.

I hope everybody has a good day.

Good morning. It's 77° and sunny. The high will be 100° and mostly cloudy. The heat will feel like 110° if not higher.

I'm sore, stiff and I can't move around well not to mention that I feel like something you wouldn't want to step in. Even my eyelids feel like they got fried. And that was with a hat and sunglasses on. I'll not be going outside today if I can help it. No layout work planned for today. In fact I'll probably go crawl back into the bed.

I wonder when the guy with the Pacer is going to realize the gas cap is on the OTHER side.

Good morning folks.

I guess the tank cars that DM&E/CP derailed outside of our house were carrying ethanol. They weren't leaking but they evacuated us while they pumped out the ethanol. Hopefully we can go back home today. I don't know why we wouldn't. I would like to be able to watch them rerail the cars. I suppose they'll do it while I'm at work.:( If those cars had jackknifed they would come close to hitting the townhouses across the street from us. Now that would be a major accident.

Oh well, on with life we go.

Have a day everyone.

Corey I looked at the map of Mankato and was wondering if you are near, I thought it was 14 but can't remember for sure the number of the Rte. I also saw a couple of tracks at least I thunked they was tracks to the northwest of the center of twon.

Chris Wish i could help you i really do, hope something changes for the better.

Jeff
I fail to see how they expect to get more money by destroying his ability to make money.
It's the same here, we have the child support agency who are hell bent on persecuting men for every last penny they earn even if it's the womans fault, your living cost's are not taken into consideration.

I go to court tomorrow:( I went over my finances again and again. as long as Child Support has it's greasy hands on both my pay checks there's not much I can do to save my house. I will try to get the ex to take the house and mortgages over one more time if not the next place I go after the court room is to the bank.....as it stands after CS comes out of my pay I'm left with $1100 a month from two jobs. transportation back and fourth from work is $500 a month. I'm trying to get a better job or job'S is not working to well...Either way thanks for the prayers and keeping me in your thoughts!

Same here too. I know one guy hit hard times he missed 6 payments, They threw him in jail cost $200 to bail out, then they took his Drivers licence away until he pays back back child support and court cost!

Child Support is Known as Slavery!! I'm sentenced to 3.5 years of hard labor! Men are treated like animals after a divorce!

EDIT Steve if I survive the swim across the pond I will be knocking on your door! If I don't survive the swim........i still come out better!LOL's

My townhouse sits directly between 14 and CP (formerly DM&E) tracks. Our place is surrounded by a marsh/ wetland. Thank God it is because the cars just sat right down into the mud. If those tanks ruptured my wife would have been a goner. They still haven't started pumping out the ethanol yet. They are rebuilding the tracks first. I guess we'll get in tomorrow afternoon, maybe. This is the section that they were going so slow on earlier in the year. Maybe they should have kept going slow.

Time for me to head for the bed. I was in pretty bad shape today after all that time in the heat yesterday. I've been feeling tired all day with little strength in my arms and unable to walk without bracing against the walls, counter top, layout, etc and still falling to my knees. I hope I feel better in the morning.

Good morning folks

It was 67 F this morning as I rolled out of the driveway. I actually drove to work with the windows down and no a/c on. High today will 86 F.

Not much happened last night. My son and I got haircuts was the highlight of the evening. Afterward we went to dinner at new Chinese buffet restaurant.

Tonight the women go for their haircuts. This weekend will be semi-busy. We have to do the biweekly restocking on the cupboards. I may not make it back to the forums until late Monday night. We will be taking my daughter to a campus tour of local college and her first face to face meeting with a college volleyball coach.

I hope everybody has a good day and weekend.

Good morning everyone.

They are currently pumping the ethanol out of the overturned tank cars outside my door. They allowed us to come home since nothing is leaking. My brother in law sent me a text message saying I shouldn't have been playing by the tracks! I told him that I just hope my penny is still there!:D I would really like to watch them lift the cars out, but I'll probably be at work or the lake. Oh well, move on folks, nothing to see here.:)

Chris, this is the effing you get for the effing you did! Hopefully they don't send you to the poor house. If it were me, I'd let the house go. It's a shot to your credit, but if you're far behind, your credit is in shambles anyway. Good luck my friend.

I have a short day today and then off to the lake for four days of boating and adult beverages!:D

Have a good weekend everyone.
