Afternoon All ! Just stopped in to say hi and see how all is doing . ANother sunny and warm day here . NzKen glad that all is going well with the move . Rex , hope the tree sex turns out ok. And everyone else have a great day !!

In other news.... In tonights paper. CSX is in the spotlight again. "A focused inspection of CSX operations in 23 states uncovered 199 serious cases of noncompliance with federal regulations, including 13 possible violations in New York, the Federal Railroad Administration reported Tuesday.......

Systemwide violations cited include failure to replace defective rails and joint bars, rail cars standing on the mainline tracks with no handbrake applied, failure to properly maintain records on signal testing, mechanical crews working on equipment without safety signals, and tank cars of hazardous materials found with loose closures, the report said."

Given the accidents recently on CSX lines, why am I not surprised?

Executive trains, you know, the big wigs of the RR's they have passenger trains to go around & check stuff out, like UP's E9's & the DDA40X, Challenger & FEF-3, and CSX's F40PH's...

Another sunny day here in the Finger Lakes. This makes two in a row. You 'Bama folks complainin' 'bout it being dry, that's 'cause we done got it all up here. We are almost double our normal rainfall for the month of March.

Dry conditions adversely impact the quality of tree sex, that's the problem. :D
