Morning, Y'all,
Chip, are you doing financial advising or what? If so, maybe you can explain why the stock market is so psychotic.
I'm glad to hear you have more money than you know what to do with.
Corey, that's what I used to hate abut Ohio. You'd start out thinking it was going to be a nice day and there would be a rainstorm by noon. I can't even begin to count the number of ball games we had cancelled due to weather when I was kid playing Little League.
Carl, I guess you do get a bit of kidding about mountain bikes in Iowa. I know there are some pretty hilly parts of Iowa in the west and even eastern Iowa has some pretty good grades coming out of rivers and creeks. Nice shots of those hoppers at the feed mill. Gives a good perspective to how massive those storage bins are when compared to size of the covered hoppers.
Jeffrey, the flatest spot I've ever seen is the area around Amarillo, Texas. The wind blows all the time and the only good thing I can say about is that you can see the tornados coming from miles away.
Chris, I used to bike a lot when I was younger but I'm way beyond the age for successful hill jumping. That must be a different experience racing around in a quarry.
Tom, I'm glad your FIL is doing better. I have the feeling that, given the current real estate market, a lot of agents just aren't working too hard to get anything sold.
Ray, you sure stay awfully busy for a retired guy.
Might be an interesting day here tomorrow if conditions set up just right. It's already 79 at 10:00 am and the dewpoints are starting to come up. The atmosphere should be progressively destabilizing over the next 24 hours so it all depnds if this weakening trough can pull up enough moisture and produce enough wind shear to produce some severe weather. We should get some pretty good thunderstorms, at least, and I hope that's all. My banana tree needs some rain again.
