Afternoon, everyone.
Chris, I hope you've made it back from work OK.
CJ, those immunosupresent drugs can be really tough on the old body. I remember when my late wife was on all that stuff for her leukemia and just getting off the couch was hard.
Phillip, it does look like you've got a pretty good ice storm headed your way although the further south you are in Indiana, the less total ice accumulation you should get. Still, I know phone wires don't like ice so I imagine you'll be earning your money for the next couple of days. Those motorcycle shocks sound like an incredibly bad piece of engineering. It sounds like they made them so you'd have to buy that special pump, which I'm sure isn't cheap.
Jeffrey, no rain here but it sure looks like it should rain. Sounds like a good plan for the park once you're up to it.
Steve, sounds like a really nice workout for getting laid off. Just enough time to get packed up and head south. I hope it all works out for you. I know they have the internet down there so you'd better stay in touch here. I hope you got the car running again. It looks like GM is about to pay the price very soon for their poor quality since some form of bankruptcy appears inevitable.
Mikey, this heat and humidity are really strange for December. I don't like it. I get nervous when there's so much fuel here and so much cold air to the north. You're right about gratitude. I may feel crummy at times but it's nothing compared to what some of our friends here go through every day.
Rex, I got the radio today, thanks very much. Glad to hear that your checkup went well. I'm really lucky not have to be on blood pressure or cholesterol medication yet but that time is coming. I'm happy to see you owned up to your poor dispatching skills instead of blaming Eric, who was half asleep anyway.
I've spent most of this week trying to keep the kittens from destroying the Christmas tree. I've got one kind of under control after a lot water sprays but the other one can get in the tree in about thee seconds. I've used water sprays, water with some Chinese hot oil for kind of a kitty pepper spray, and an air horn, but nothing seems to discourage him. I think he's psychotic, or maybe he's possessed, like Steve's car.

Just warm and humid here as we wait to see what all this cold air brings to us this weekend.
