Mostly Harmless
Good evening from Ye Olde London Towne. Its a pleasant 10c (50f). Not bad for this time of the evening and this time of year. No rain for once. Maybe I'll manage to scrub myself down with some steel wool to remove the rust.
My train shed is up and ready for insulating and electricity. With a bit of luck I will finally have something running for the first time in over a year. Also, I'm planning on having my first venture into North American modelling at the test running stage by spring. Stay tuned.
Steve, sounds like they are playing the assmosis game. The ones that kiss ass the best over the next week get to stay. I've seen that happen before.
Rex please put those knees away, they are frightening the livestock.
Tom, you need to introduce a model railroad into the Scout troupe. That's how I got started. I still remember Sunday nights with a tin of leather dye dipping bits of strip wood to make a snow shed in HO.
Jeffery, an old tip for gluing bits that you don't want to glue. Paint the moving parts with some water based 'personal lubricant' ie KY before sticking the rest with CA. The lube stops the CA from wandering where its not wanted and its a simple matter to rinse with water afterwards. Got that tip from an architectural modeller who uses it to paint over clear plastic parts to stop the CA from fogging.
