Picked up some used GN cars for my roster at an expo last weekend :)

All have had the Rapidos & pizza cutter wheels replaced with MT trucks, but the last one is still a work in progress due to some compatibility issues. :mad: I love the rainbow of liveries & logos represented.

Thats why i collect Great Northern even though i run modern Western Canada.
So many cool paint schemes, so many Goats:eek::D

The 2nd last one in red #582014 looked a bit off to me, almost toy-like, but I couldn't work out why. Now I think I have - the plastic has been cast in the desired colour rather than having it painted like we're used to. Must have been very old, but I can't tell exactly as it didn't have a box.
 
Dullcoat will be going on hopefully this weekend. Then the interior will be put back in.

Those susquehanna units were dull coated today, I need to do one more coat. There were some spotty glossy areas.
