Here's something that was sent to me recently.
It's a Fleischmann 0-4-0 I'm guessing of 70's vintage. I removed the hook and loop couplers and put in Kadee #148's in Kadee #242 draft gear boxes. It runs but is somewhat rocky and needs more work. For now it makes a nice little tourist attraction.
The little guy in the cab needs Botox.
There is no little guy in the cab. You're seeing the motor.
Actually, I Knew that. It was a joke.
Nice stuff so far gang!

Not sure yet what to post, workin on a little project right now. Not real sure how its gonna turn out yet, but I've been itchin to build a stucture of late.
Maybe I'll have it postable tomorrow?

Finally got the junkyard scene painted.
I thought my coal mine looked kinda lonely, so I just added another building next to it.
@Motley....Your can only load 1 car at a time? Got to be interesting loading a string of cars...
WB GP7 just passing through. DJ.
Wow!

Been working on a siding with a gravel yard . I now have a good start on it.
Beautiful stuff being shown as always.
I haven't got anything too photogenic to share this week. I did get some more done on the yard by the Lisk factory. Was going quite well until I ran out of tie stock..... Here is what I have gotten done this past week or so.
Same area, different angle. This will be almost all hand laid track.
I spent most of my hobby time yesterday and today building a scratchbuilt steam turbine for the Powerhouse. Before painting:
And after:
The newest member of the fleet, No. 8300. I've liked this one from the beginning and it looks like I'll be buying more Bachmann when I purchase more locomotives.
My new Athearn BB GP-40 that I won on ebay for $25 shipped. First pic is as it arrived. Second is after painting the hand rails, fuel tank, and side frames and adding a Details West plow. SP Dark Lark Grey isn’t a perfect match for this Athearn factory color, but it’s “close enough.”
Adde the reflective sill striping to my NYSW SD40-2 and also blacked out the NS logo's on my NYSW 3020, which needs cab numbers/name and new numberboards. Can anyone recommend a way to remove the stock athearn paint?
And 3020
Been doing some more work on my gravel yard.
