Here's my whole workshop just for trains & taking apart Computers & printers.

Last year my old workbench literaly fell apart:

It was made out of low-quality particle board and was never designed to hold 50-60 bottles of floquil paint I guess
If you are looking for a bench, just scan the on-line classifieds under give away and there usually a number of old desks and benches people are wanting to give away. That's what I did:

The narrow boxes contain projects that are underway, one shelf is for my airbushes, one is for evergreen strip styrene, and others ore misc. The green cabinet below is the paint drawer.

Beside it is my bookshelf with MRR and MRC magazines, as well as my reference books. If I swevel my chair I'm looking at my airbrush booth.
 
Well here's my workbench when it was clean!

It's usually piled up with stuff though, be it trains, or school projects, or my brother's projects.

And our collection of post-war and modern Lionels watch from overhead.
