I (used to) ride bikes. Harley Davidson and choppers I built myself. From scratch, no kits here. Want to get on one again someday. Live to ride, ride to live.

Years ago, I built up a 1975 Harley Davidson Sportster with Andrews "P" grind
exhaust cams,Wiseco pistons, Kuryakin hyper charger ( forced air intake that was vacuum operated!) with a 26 tooth rear drive sprocket!
Painted it corvette yellow with black ceramic coated drag pipes.
Rounded it out with a Solo seat and rear "pad", King "peanut" tank and saddle bags.
No spedometer or tachometer to speak of.
Raced a cop and realized I wasn't so fast.......
Was cruisin home one day after work.
Wound it out in 4th gear with the wind sucking the helmet of my head and right about then, I had an electrical fire that lit it up like a Christmas tree!!!
After that it became a paper weight for lack of funding (wife and kids) and sold it off to pay some bills.
Wife has been gone for many moons but the kids are still here.
Some days I miss the Harley though.................
