I finally got my hands on these 2 kits!

They were part of the Ford Auto-Series, and have been long sold out. I have 2 of the Assemble Plants, 2 of the Stamping Plants, and one of the Distribution Center Facility kits (some of the others in the series). Those are all built and the ones on my Ford Assembly Plant Module I have been working on...

Im stoked I finally got my hands on the Tire Plant and Uptown Motors Dealership. The Tire Plant is an impressive kit to say the least, and its huge! BUT I sill am in search of one more of them to kitbash them both and make one huge Tire Plant. The Uptown Motors is a very nice kit, and includes a vehicle showroom, and office like building, and a service bays building (all connected). Like the Tire Plant kit, I am still in search for one more of them to kitbash in order to make a larger showroom and a larger service bay area.

Want to know the best part? I got them both for an absolute STEAL! $40 for the Tire Plant and $15.00 for Uptown Motors! That Tire Plant sells on ebay for anywhere between $100 and $200 all the time! Uptown Motors usually sells for a decent amount as well. I got lucky on both of these! Uptown Motors was listed as Buy-It-Now for $15.00 and immediately after I saw it (it had just been listed an hour or 2 before) I didnt hesitate one bit and clicked the "Buy It Now" button lol. The Tire Plant I got on the HOYARDSALE group and was part of an estate lot I guess.


I am still looking for the following kits, so if anyone ever sees them for REASONABLE prices, please do let me know

(1) Uptown Motors (3077)
(1) Tire Plant (933-3078)
(2) Assembly Plant (933-3079)

Sheesh Josh! How will you sleep at night after a steal like that? LOL

Glad to hear about it and I'm sure it will be worth seeing as you progress through the build. You are going to post a build thread aren't you?

LOL Mike, at this point im just trying to stock pile these older kits for use on a future layout. Im up to 3 of those Tire Plant kits, 1 of the Uptown Motors and 1 of the Headquarters buildings now.

Now i need to get my hands on some more of the Assembly Plants, Stamping Plants, and Distribution Facility kits, and maybe one more of the Headquarters and Uptown Motors kits lol. Heck if i happened upon another Tire Plant kit I would buy it, those kits are pretty neat and could serve as many different types of industries with some kit-bashing

Well, since I didn't get a response right away...I put it on Ebay. I didn't think anyone else would reply and I wanted to sell asap. I'll tell you what... Since you are the only one who replied to my thread...if you bid and win the dealership, I will ship to YOU for free. The shipping charge is $8.00 so it should make it a little easier to afford. I know that alot of guys on this forum will help me in the future with my HO problems and concerns, so I want to be easy going and helpfull where ever I can. Helpfull people deserve help in return. I actually got this dealership with a few other models when I purchased my Trains. I wanted to re-coup some $$$ by selling the dealership, a crossing shanty and a signal tower ( I spent it all my $ on the trains and I'm broke). if you bid and win, let me know...shipping for YOU is free. it is an open box, but all tabs are still intact and attached. I think some one opened the box to look at iy.
 
Thanks for your offer, Its funny because right after i read your first reply yesterday I went on ebay and looked for these kits again and came across what appears to be your kit looking back at it now. I am watching it currently :D
